    • A Total Waste of MONEY
Do NOT purchase... it'll become an expensive brick once to lithium battery wears out. Sony will not replace it or carry replacement parts for it. I lost all my mp3 music files. I purchased mine 3 years ago and was quite pleased (at first), but with the 3rd year, the battery started losing it charging power. Instead of 10+ hours of charging ability, it became shorter & shorter until I wasn't able to charge anymore. I call Sony about this problem & their response was that they do not have have replacement batteries for the mp3 player. I was BERY disappointed by their laxidas ago concern for an item that I spent over $1,000 for. So, this mp3 player has become an expensive brick that sits on my desk and does nothing. ... show more

Sony has got to be trolling us here, right? You would have to have money just dripping off of you to want to pay this much for an audio product. I don't care how good the dac or components are. This is pure foolishness. Maybe they could make a product that actually ran Android as quickly as a phone and play uncompressed audio at high-quality. ... show more

This is the best DAP I have ever owned. The sound quality is outstanding. The ability to stream from popular music services and to access the internet is a big plus. Lastly the build quality and long battery life puts this one over the top. Worth the asking price in my opinion.

It is expensive but it is a wonderful DAP. The hi res sound produced by this device is amazing.

    • You final stop at mobil DAP
Compare to the AK SP3000, the WM1ZM2 present more warm and pop feeling. Can handle most tyoe of the music. Only down side is the battery can only last about 20 hours for high gain at balanced port. If you use the stream music, it will only last for 10-12 hours.
