Fantastic lens. Sharp. Just too wide for a stand alone prime lens.
Used it. I like it but it's too wide. A 20mm will suffice and anyone would use the 20mm more often than a 16mm. Sold it and bought the 16-35 f2.8 GM 2 lens instead . Chefs kiss

great lens for small wedding spaces
This is my new favorite lens for wedding photography. A lot of times you are in a space that is too small that my 24 can't save me and my back is letterly pressed against the wall trying to get the shot. with this lens now I can stand comfortably in the room without the acrobatics and crop in post. The details is great when I zoom in which is all I ask.

Powerful little package
The quality of this lens is topnotch, form build quality to the quality of still and video images, absolutely outstanding. It is an expensive lens but when compared to what you are getting the value proposition, again its outstanding. This is a compact lightweight lens, it focuses lightning quick and with that F 1.8 low light photography and videos are so much improved. Just an impressive little powerhouse.

Better options aside from native Sony lens
Lens works great until you start here a dropping sound inside the lens. Not reliable for the money IMO so I returned it.
