It provides 20x optical and 200x digital zoom to bring you closer to the action. The NightShot feature captures infrared images in total darkness (zero luxes). Audio features include high- fidelity mono recording and output as well as a built-in speaker for added convenience. The Sony CCD-TRV37 also offers six-mode program autoexposure and an array of fader and picture effects.Other convenient features of the Sony CCD-TRV37 include a built-in video light, a Control-L (LANC) editing interface, 16:9 widescreen recording, edit search, and end search. With its rechargeable InfoLithium battery that includes an AccuPower meter, this camcorder offers long recording time.

    • The product doesn't work.
The media could not be loaded. For starters, the electrical plug needs to be held in a special way for the camera to power up. My guess, the plug receptacle in the camera is worn from over-use. Secondly, the battery doesn't charge. Lastly, the camera neither records or plays what I record, or what was previously recorded on older tapes that I know for fact have video on them. All I get on the video is static (see short video clip). Update 02 Aug 2021. Refund was "approved" by the seller on 27 July 2021.....still waiting for the refund to show in my bank account. This is my third camera, the other two were the same. I know how to use it! Very disappointed! Request a refund soonest. For Amazon, if the company doesn't provide the refund, you need to step in and provide me with a full refund....or not sell inferior products on your website. I did not buy the camera to take videos but rather to use to play my pre-existing 8mm tapes primarily of my kids as they were growing up and convert to digital/DVDs. The camera performed fine. However, if I would ever have the need for a night vision camera, I now have one. Thanks
