If you have the money, this TV is awesome. I’ve had it for about three months now and have no complaints. The apps are snappy, picture quality is awesome, and Interestingly, the built-in sound is pretty good too! I buy Sony because of the quality of construction - every Samsung device I’ve ever owned broke within 3-4 years, my old Sony TV is still going strong since 2011. I also own an A80J which was a pretty good TV for its time. The Bravia 8 II improves on that TV in every way. The enhanced peak brightness and color rendition due to the QD-OLED panel result in a sublime experience for all forms of media. Highly recommend the TV if you are looking for an OLED.

This TV is truly exceptional. I was having a very difficult time deciding among which flagship OLED to get, but what steered me to this one was WhatHiFi's review. And after spending time with this TV I can understand why this is crowned the best. The picture is exceptionally nuanced, detailed, and dimensional. The processing is second to none. My biggest concern was that it lacked raw brightness power of its rivals, and I would be missing out on HDR impact. But it really doesn't seem to be an issue. I've compared this to the Panasonic Z95B at full brightness while playing PS5 games, and surprisingly the Bravia looks more vibrant and perceptually brighter in many scenes to my eyes, despite what the numbers say. Probably due to the exceptional tone mapping and higher color purity of the QD-OLED panel. ... show more

Save your money!! I have been ripped off. Sound crackles constanly, no PS connected, just TV speakers. Trouble shooting instructions are useless. $2,000 paperweight. I'll never buy a Sony again.

Good: Nice picture quality. Bad: Unpack not as convenient as LG, you need a table or other surface vs the boxing designed to be able to use the box itself for setup. Anti-scratch cover needed to use a tool to remove, the adhesive tabs meant to help remove it were worthless. Power cord is a little in the short side. Only 1 port besides eARC supports full refresh rate. Requiring Google sign in to use any apps. Firmware updates take a very long time. None of the bad items are deal breakers but for the cost of the TV and Sonys former reputation of quality and attention to detail I expected better and did not expect the Koreans to be mogging them. ... show more
