Try the My Image Style function for further expressive versatility. When shooting in the Intelligent Auto or Scene Selection mode, it allows the background bokeh, brightness, and color tone to be easily adjusted via icons on the touch screen.
  • Precise subject tracking with Real-time Eye AF: Real-time Eye AF recognizeswith high precisionthe faces and eyes of humans, as well as the eyes of animals and birds, for consistently accurate and reliable focus. Real-time Tracking ensures that focus is maintained on the subject as it moves around in the frame.

  • I bought this camera for the second time, and that alone says a lot.
Color: Black Style: Body Only
If I buy a camera again, it is not by accident. It means it truly works for me. In this case, one of the biggest reasons is that, although many people see it only as a vlogging or content creation camera, in practice it can do much more than that. For me, it falls into “mini cinema camera” territory in some ways. Not because it is a true cinema camera, but because it offers the kind of image quality, codecs, and tools that let it handle more demanding projects without feeling limited too quickly. One of its strongest points is the combination of sensor, processor, and codecs. The sensor delivers a very pleasing image, with solid detail, beautiful color, and a more serious look than many people would expect from a camera in this category. The processor makes the camera feel fast, modern, and reliable. But where it really stands out is in the recording options: the codecs are robust enough not just for casual shooting, but for files that can actually hold up in post-production, color correction, and a more serious workflow. To me, that pushes it beyond the simple “creator camera” category and into something much more interesting. Another thing I like is that it is not limited to casual use. Yes, it works very well for vlogging, social media, and everyday content creation, but it can also handle more demanding work such as documentaries, short films, interviews, and small commercial projects. Of course, you have to understand its limits, but when used properly, it gives you much more than its size would suggest. Its size is actually another major strength. It is small, lightweight, and practical, which makes it a camera you genuinely want to carry and use. It does not become one of those cameras that ends up sitting on a shelf because the setup feels too bulky or inconvenient. For me, that matters a lot, because a camera you actually take with you is often more valuable than a bigger or more “professional” one that stays at home. Now, to be completely honest, it is not perfect. Even though it has that mini cinema camera feel in some ways, it is still not a true cinema camera. There are compromises in ergonomics, body design, certain advanced features, and some aspects that more technical users or larger productions may miss. Depending on the type of work, it can fall short compared to more robust or more specialized bodies. And yes, part of the final result still depends on knowing how to expose properly, light properly, and get the most out of the files. That said, I think it is an excellent purchase. I bought it for the second time because it offers a balance that is hard to find: good image quality, strong codecs, compact size, a serious workflow, and enough capability to work not only for content creation, but also for more demanding productions. It is not just a camera for vloggers. When you really understand what it can do, it is much more than that. ... show more

  • So far good!
Color: White Style: Body Only
Well I jumped from a QX1 to this "monster" It has a lot of features like they really listened to customers. When using manual lenses (either alpha with manual zoom, or analogs with adapter) you can zoom the screen to get better idea of the focus. And like that a lot of "mini" tools that are great for the day by day, I wont talk about photo quality or specs, you probably saw 100 videos of that, and specially the 10 bit thing on videos. It feels right. I miss the physical shooter that I had in the QX1, like a real reflex camera feeling. At some point you will say "but its almost like my phone..." But then you will get a decent lens, and you will say "woaaaa" Still relatively new, so I cant get stuff like a metal frame for protection (I'm still looking for one) But batteries are the big sony standard battery used in reflex cameras. So thats an easy one. Battery last like forever. So if you have a second battery, you will be ok for long time. I miss the glass windows to check the picture without looking trough a screen, but screen has a great contrast and I didn't have any issues looking or checking the screen under the direct sun light. So far its a solid camera. One thing that I would love would be that some day the camera could just upload the pictures to a share folder, or ftp, or even a file services like dropbox, etc. For now, or you either sync with the phone (will be fast since is wifi 5ghz) but still phone -> cellphone -> storage in cloud or network, and difficult to track which photo you already copied. What I do is take the SD out put it on a SD reader on my phone and move the pictures to Synology, via the photo app. or share folder via total commander (on vpn or locally). ... show more

  • Absolutely Love This Camera — Perfect for Content Creators!
Color: Black Style: Body Only
I’m in love with this camera! The Sony ZV-E10 II delivers everything I need for content creation without breaking the bank. It’s affordable, yet the color science is outstanding—skin tones look natural, and everything I shoot has a cinematic pop straight out of camera. I only use it for content creation, and it’s been flawless so far. The autofocus is fast and reliable, even when I move around, and the image quality is top-tier for an APS-C camera at this price. I don’t have a single bad thing to say about it—it just works beautifully every time I hit record. If you’re a YouTuber, vlogger, or solo creator, this is one of the best investments you can make. ... show more

Color: Black Style: Body Only
I purchased the Sony ZV-E10 II just two weeks ago. While the image quality and features are impressive for content creation, I am very concerned about the build quality of the USB-C port. From day one, the port felt 'wobbly.' Even with the original Sony cable, there is a significant physical play (loose connection). Initially, I thought it was a software glitch because my Mac wouldn't recognize the camera, but it turned out to be a combination of a software conflict (with the smartphone connection) and this unstable physical port. Even when it's working, the connection is fragile. If I slightly touch the cable, the Mac loses the connection. For a camera designed for vloggers and streamers who rely on this port for charging and data transfer, this is a serious reliability risk. **Unacceptable Support:** The seller is refusing to honor the return because I no longer have the original packaging. This is a clear violation of consumer rights: **a retailer cannot deny a return for a defective product just because the box is missing.** Redirecting me to Sony for a hardware failure that existed from day one is a poor attempt to avoid responsibility for a faulty unit. **Pros:** Excellent autofocus and compact design. **Cons:** Flimsy USB-C port construction; inconsistent connection with Mac out of the box; unprofessional return policy. **Advice to others:** Check your USB port immediately after purchase. If it feels loose, return it instantly and keep every scrap of packaging, as this seller will use any excuse to deny your legal right to a refund for a defective item. ... show more

  • Dead pixels, but they were good about the return!
Color: Black Style: Body Only
I bought two of these for a YouTube channel. Not ever using a mirrorless camera and seeing all the great reviews. The camera will not do the pixel mapping even with the lense on. I tried resetting the camera many times and the dead pixels still remain. Did the “change date” fix, but that only sends me back to pixel mapping. Which still did not work. — at least the third party I bought it from did refund me with no hassle. That I am grateful for, thank you 🙏 The other camera I bought so far is still working well! ... show more

  • really compact
Color: Black Style: Body Only
I originally used the A7M4, but it felt a bit too big for everyday carry, so I got the ZV-E10 II. This camera is really compact and has a great selection of compatible lenses. I’m currently using the Viltrox 27mm f/1.2 Pro, and it’s fantastic—the image quality is excellent, making it perfect for daily photography. ... show more
