I honestly almost never leave reviews like this but after seeing how this product arrived I felt the need to do so. If I didn't know myself that I bought this camera refurbished I never would have known. Everything from not only the camera itself looked pristine but even the packaging it came in look like brand new Sony packaging that would have came rather than some random off-brand refurbished packaging from other refurbished products I've purchased. The media could not be loaded. I was so excited to get this camera, and I always trust the customer service of Amazon to come through on their refurbished equipment if there are any damages or issues upon arrival, so I felt great about this purchase. I was surprised when I turned it on after charging to find that all the setup dialog and menus were in what Google Translate read as Japanese (I could be wrong, apologies). After hours of research, resets, and a call to Sony support, everyone says the same thing: if Sony cameras are from certain regions (Japan included) they are locked in that language, and this cannot be changed. I took a picture of where some Youtube videos will show you that the button is supposed to be to change language, but it is indeed removed, so this is not a U.S. model, or one that has English available, unfortunately. Beware… the camera you get might not be what you thought, and more than just a scratch on a case or missing wind screen. Disappointing. UPDATE: Returned 1st camera, ordered a replacement from the same seller. Once again… in Japanese. I did message them, but have not heard back. Unfortunately, I may be returning another camera once again. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS SELLER! ... show more

I've got two of these E10's now and they're absolutely great for a first DSLR. I mainly use mine for video and the best part about these E10's is that they basically never over heat. I've filmed several hours of non-stopped footage at 4K maximum bitrate/quality using an AC adapter and they just go and go and go. Other than the rolling shutter, there's a whole lot to like here and at refurbished/renewed pricing, they're a really solid deal. ... show more
