I upgraded from the Sony a6000. I am amazed with the color, detail, and sharpness of the photos taken with this camera. It also provides significant low light and high ISO performance compared to the a6000. The 42 MP also provides incredible flexibility for cropping which allows me to improve compositions without compromising print size. The battery life doesn't compare to newer models but I don't find it too bad, especially since this pack comes with 3 batteries. The Carrying case works well and the strap for the case works better as a neck strap for the camera than the strap that comes with the camera. I have produced professional quality landscape images with my sony a6000 and have begun selling those images. Upgrading to this camera though, I can see the improvement. The attached images were rushed images testing the camera in my yard. Very high detail and great color. I would not recommend this as a first camera, it is complicated and expensive (though not compared to comparable competition). If you have a few years experience though and feel limited by your current gear like I was starting to, this could be a great jump. ... show more

This Sony A7RV is an awesome camera and is more camera than I will ever use. The S/Q settings make it super simple to do slo-mo and time lapse videos. Camera is well worth buying. BUT! Most of the stuff in the bundle is junk. Software is all outdated or trials. The flash shoe is plastic broke off on 3rd use. The bundle comes with a single memory card that was a V30 and the camera really functions best with 2 v60 or v90 cards. The extra battery was nice, one original Sony and one of the standard aftermarket cheaper ones. Sheesh, I think I did alright with just the camera and the worthwhile items, BUT... calculate what the price would be with just the camera and GOOD cards, flash and batteries. ... show more

Was a better deal than B&H Photo. Not everything in the package is top notch, the small tripod is useless. The vertical grip is good. Batteries and chargers are good. Memory card is good, but you'll need at least a 128 GB card if you shoot raw. The raw files are 120 MB. I got an extra 256 GB Sandisk card. The detail you get with this camera is amazing.
