  • Easy and tool-free installation, 3M adhesive (included) installation significantly saves your time. Place it anywhere in your home including your hallway, bathroom, kitchen and more.
  • Boasts 6M detection distance and 110 viewing angle. You can share the sensor to your family to together keep eyes on your home. 3-month history records check.

  • Works great with SmartThings
Size: SNZB-03 2-Pack
Works out of the box with SmartThings. Put it in pairing mode, scan for nearby devices in the SmartThings app and it pairs within a few seconds. Motion detection is very quick and accurate, you might need to experiment a bit with the placement but once you have that down, it triggers almost instantly when motion is detected. It's only been a couple weeks so it's probably too early to comment on battery life, but so far it still reports as 100%. One little quirk that I've noticed is that the device will show as offline in SmartThings after a few hours without any activity, but it will come back online as soon as motion is detected. I'm guessing this is to conserve battery and I'm okay with it if it means I get longer battery life. I've got 4 of these sensors so far, they're great value and I'll gladly buy more of them if I need to. ... show more

  • Two devices. Both disconnected within 1 day and won't reconnect.
Size: SNZB-02P
I got two of these SNZB-02P temperature/humidity sensors. I hooked them up to home assistant. The first one died within an hour. The second was dead the next day. The devices were still both powered and would flash the light when the button was pressed, but it will not talk to the home assistant hub any more. I thought it was a range problem initially, but now they are sitting next to the hub and still don't talk. Don't buy. Even if it did work, these things use a button cell, so it will have limited battery life. There is no external power input so you can't put it on a power supply. Basically a useless product. ... show more

  • Works well if the batteries don't die
Size: SNZB-03
Works well if the batteries don't die. Pair easily with SmartThings and reports motion and battery percentage. In my routines I wait 2 minutes with no motion before turning off the lights and it seems to work well. When the battery dies I have an issue with repairing them with SmartThings. Stay away of from the cheap/knock off batteries on Amazon (even if it says its a brand name) and you might be OK for a year or more without issue. ... show more

  • Works Great; People claiming range issues and "cooldowns" are probably experiencing User-Error
Size: SNZB-01P
The media could not be loaded. My apartment living room doesn't have an overhead light for... some reason. So I wanted a button I could put up and pair with my smart bulb. I was already interested in checking out Home Assistant for purely local smart home control, and this is a ZigBee-based button with a decent form factor and design. It just works. I see some people claiming there are range or connection issues. But now that I have half a dozen of these across several rooms, I can say for certain they are wrong. These people either have poor ZigBee meshes or a bad coordinator. My coordinator is an ethernet based ZigBee adapter and the only time any of my buttons have ever noticeably disconnected is when I accidentally disconnected the coordinator from my switch (aka self-caused). Get a better coordinator than some USB stick that will experience interference in a PC USB 3.0 port, pick a better location to project your network from to your ZigBee mesh routers or check your location for high levels of 2.4Ghz signals. There are NO inherent cooldowns, at least with Home Assistant. So anyone claiming there are either made some setting in HA limit how it detects the button press events or their smart home ecosystem has some kind of enforced policy doing this. Because I'm sitting here reading these reviews claiming there are cooldowns while repeatedly pressing 3 different buttons and getting the correct number of reactions from each one less than 1 second after each press. In fact, what these people are probably doing is pressing the button so fast that they no longer create the "toggle" command from the button and instead initiate a "double-press" command, which Home Assistant reports as the "On" command. The button has this as a feature, to allow you to make different effects with different uses, which it also does with holding down the button longer than normal to create other effects. ... show more

  • Limited range, otherwise is fine (I solved my sensor's disconnect problem)
Size: SNZB-03 2-Pack
Update on March 1st: 1 star off because its limited connection range. Actually, it has the shortest connection range of all zigbee devices I saw. If you plan to use it within the same room of your hub, or you have zigbee repeaters installed all over your home, you probably find it is fine. Otherwise, it may disconnect after a few days. For my test, one door/one wall plus 4 yards distance is fine. But one wall plus 8 yards will make it very unstable. Mine dropped out of network every three days. Eventually I switched its location with my Samsung motion sensor. Samsung motion sensors have superb range, they can even connect from 1st floor to 2nd floor. Now I keep those Sonoff sensors closer to my hub. --------------------------- Update on Jan 31: I figured out how to reconnect the "broken" one to my home assistant. Both can work now. Let's see how well they are going to work. Now my judgement: 1. Building quality is so so. Like everyone else mentioned, they have a one minute cool down time, the same as Aqara motion sensor but longer than Samsung, Hue and 3R. Battery is not grocery store available battery (same as Aqara and Samsung, but Hue and 3R use AAA batteries). The mounting design is also not the best, making changing battery a pain. Samsung uses magnetic mounting, 3R can be easily slide out. Aqara also use 3M tape but can be rotated out. For Sonoff, you need to use a screw driver to pry the sensor out. Anyway, it is the cheapest of all. As of today, Hue is $40, Samsung was $30 but no longer available, 3R and Aqara is $20, Sonoff is only $15 each. Personally I love 3R the most, you may have different opinion. 2. Despite many bad reviews online, they can work in my home, at least now. If you cannot get them work with home assistant, try to reload zigbee integration or even restart your home assistant. Don't bother to repair too many times. You may need re-pair once or twice, but more than three times is definitely not usual. I reload my ZHA integration and now everything works fine. I don't know what you can do with amazon echo or google home if you cannot get them work, maybe power down your hub and try again? Original review before I figured out the problem: --------------------------- Short version: poor quality, don't buy Long version: I really should have believed all other customers' words! I always thought I am an expert on IoT devices and I can solve any stupid problems others might be stuck. No. I am not smarter than other guys. Both sensors can pair with Home Assistant easily, though it took a long time wherever not adjacent to my hub. One can work, though the cool down time is 1 minute like everybody said. That is not too bad. Aqara motion sensor also has 1 minute cool down time. The other cannot work at all. Never detected a motion. Tried re-pairing and reconfiguration countless times. I gave up. 30 bucks for 2 sensors is cheap, I can bear with its poor building quality. 30 bucks for 1? No. Return them all. ... show more
