Love sonic, love this level pack
My son, age 10, was the most excited for this level pack when the new wave of Lego Dimensions characters were announced. This is so much fun to play. I love that Lego brought back some of my childhood classics and got my son excited about them. He already loved sonic so this was wonderful for him. I can't say enough good things about Lego dimensions. Best game ever! ... show more

I'm happy to have this pack.
It's a fun level pack, though one I think is more calculated to fit in the LEGO world than to pay proper homage to Sonic. And I say this as someone who was just a bit old to play Sonic when it first came out...so I have an appreciation of the franchise even though I didn't grow up with it. So just so you know what you're getting - this isn't a reproduction of the Sonic game, but rather you get Sonic as a playable character (and two rather cool vehicles...) to tool around with in Dimensions. The hub world is fun, as are the special levels, though I didn't feel like the replay value was all there. So it was fun initially, and it's useful to have Sonic in your stable as he brings some abilities to the table that are handy. I guess I just felt like the money was spent on the character and not the level, if that makes sense. That all said, I'm happy to have this pack. ... show more

Son loves this addition to his dimensions set
Very easy to put together once you figure out that you have to find the spot in the game to give you the instructions to put the pieces together. If you are not wanting to do that you can always youtube the instructions to put the pieces together so when the spot is found for the car and tornado then you can just "fast forward" through the instructions and save the toy tag (what they call it). My son loves sonic so he was very happy to get this. ... show more
