  • Pretty impressed
Color: Pink
8BitDo continues to impress with quality, ease of use, and battery life. Even in such a small package, I've getting impressive battery life. No input lag, and I got used to the smaller size. Better than using the attached joycons.

  • Does work including with iOS via Bluetooth , but is not software configurable.
Color: Turquoise
I bought this believing that the 8BitDo app would allow custom configuration of the controller for things like button mapping or macros. That’s not the case. The app only works with very specific 8BitDo controllers and the Lite 2 is not one of them. As an aside, neither is the SN30pro. To that end, if your application allows custom mapping and you don’t mind the A/B X/Y buttons not actually mapping to A/B or X/Y the controller does work. It’s nice and small so very portable. The real kicker for me is that I’d intended this to be a controller to use with my phone and moonlight. However it’s is Uber inconvenient because I also use a different controller when actually playing from the PC directly. Because the controls aren’t mappable I have to change the button mapping in my games each time I move between this controller and my main controller. That’s a huge bummmer. ... show more

  • Great for Genshin on the Go!
Color: Pink
I see some folks having an issue with how small the controller is, but that’s exactly why I like it personally. It’s tiny but mighty— I can literally put it in my bag so I can play games on the go or on my lunch break. Its battery life is also pretty good (about 15-20 hours from full charge to completely dead). It connects very easily with IOS devices so I can connect it to my phone and iPad. And most importantly, for me and maybe for others that have this as a priority like I did, this is a controller that is compatible with Genshin Impact and other Hoyoverse games! ... show more

  • a bit small but works perfect
Color: Pink
i just got my 8bit do lite 2 edition its perfect for travel if you have small hands or Young kids its a really good controller even with my massive hands its not that uncomfortable to play on pros: it supports switch, android and raspberry pi dispute its miniscule size it has all the features a regular controller would have if your using with raspberry pi or Android then it has a turbo function (I don't know how to use it but the manual says its there) you can disable button connection so its really easy to stick in a pocket or bag (I mainly recommend pocket because theres less chance itll undo the button connect lock) it has a really nice texture to it (my opinion) Usb type C charging (charger included) all the buttons feel nice except the d-pad the d-pad is ok just kinda mushy cons: Its small its a little confusing at first it doesn't have any grips its flat like the joycons after long periods of play it can get uncomfortable to use for me it makes my palms and fingers sweat more than regular controllers no variation in color it's only pink or blue based off the pink and blue switch lites ... show more

  • No XInput
Color: Turquoise
If you're using it for anything other than Switch or Android you will have to remap buttons. Really a missed opportunity since even the Zero 2 has XInput. Aside from that build quality is pretty good. Note that because the sides are straight, the angle you use analog sticks might need to be adjusted. Update: This turned out to be a dealbreaker for my use case. Going with the 8BitDo SN30 Pro instead. Slightly larger but it supports XInput and Mac ... show more

  • I liked the look and form factor but drift and non user repair ability
Color: Turquoise
I really liked how portable and how small it looked, liked the colors and everything, BUT it drifts, my sticks have drift in them, additionally the b button had delays when pressing it, as if it would occasionally drop input. I don’t play hard and I didn’t frequently play with this controller but unfortunately it failed me. ... show more

  • Works with the Steam Deck!
Color: Turquoise
I bring my Steam Deck to work a lot and wanted an ultra portable controller to keep my setup as small as possible. I understand that the Steam Deck has a controller built into it, but it can get uncomfortable holding it arms up for too long. I mainly use my Steam Deck at work to grind mats on Final Fantasy 14 and wanted to be able to sit back while I have my Steam Deck on it's stand integrated into the case I have on it. So I looked for the smallest bluetooth controller on here and found this little gem. It's a super tiny controller, however you can tell it has a really good build quality and has a good layout. There were some other small controllers I found, but some of them had the trigger and shoulder buttons side-to-side rather than front-to-back like this one. I also like how the d-pad is on the inner bottom side rather than on the outside like the Steam Deck. Joysticks feel very similar to the Joycons, very short travel distance from the center, but decent for the casual gaming I'm doing. Also, if connecting to the Steam Deck run the 8bitdo Lite 2 as a Switch controller (S setting selector in the middle of controller) not the Android setting (D setting selector in the middle of controller), and the Steam Deck will recognize it as a Switch Pro controller. I tried connecting it through the Android bluetooth setting and it had some issues. Took me a minute to realize this, but the charging light is at the top, on the bottom are the lights to show if the controller is on, if bluetooth syncing is on, and what player you are for Switch. I know this was designed mainly for the Switch and the colors were developed for that in mind, but I really wished there were more color options! Other than that I have had no issues with the controller. ... show more
