I got this for a gift for my 12 year old son. He was super excited when he opened it. I had to guide him and help balance him the first couple times of use. It does take a little time to get used to, however I feel like the kids mastered the use of it within about 30 minutes. They do need to build up some confidence before going on their own, but they were rolling all over the house on their own in no time. We have wooden floors and the hoverboard glided smoothly on it. The battery is long lasting, lasting around 3 hours. It can hold a good amount of weight, 130 pounds, ideal for kids and teens. I tried it myself, given I weigh 125 pounds and it carried me along just as easily as it did the kids, it has a pretty powerful motor. It turned with ease, I was able to control the movement swiftly with my feet. I was surprised with the performance, it has some get up and go and it was much easier to use than I expected. The lights on the wheels are a great addition and the whole family loves Sonic so it was a hit.

The print on this hoverboard is great. Definitely a great choice for kiddos just starting out, the quality is great. It actually goes pretty fast too. My son absolutely loves it! The battery life is pretty good considering how much he rides it. Lightweight but durable. Great value

My grandson was delighted to receive this for his birthday, he only rode it twice in the house and now one side is not working. I am past my return window yet he hasn't had the thing 6 months yet with minimal usage and it clonked out on him!

My kids have been wanting one of these for years. I was a little hesitant given the investment but we couldn’t be more pleased. It it’s actually fairly easy to ride (for the kids at least) and has a reasonably long battery life. We are getting lots of enjoyment out of it. Very happy with our purchase.

This hoverboard was the best trick or treat surprise for my 9 year old who dressed up as the Hedgehog, completing the cool look with sonic speed! Steady built, heavier than I thought.

I order this for my sons birthday. Two months later and waiting on a replacement to be sent. Item was defective and k had to go through the manufacturer. My item was deliver a month and a half ago and no replacement has been sent out yet. Multiple emails and the same response every time. Finally said I’d open a bank dispute and they responded saying my new item was shipped and I retrieved tracking. The tracking for 5 days now says “shipping label created”. Nothing else. Scammed out of my money, my time and my little boys birthday present.

The media could not be loaded. I would have given no stars if that was an option.. This hoverboard was bought as a Christmas present. Thinking it would work out of the box was my mistake… I purchased early and it wasn’t opened until Christmas so now it is past the return window and they will not help. It does not work at all. Only one side comes on and you cannot ride it at all. DO NOT BUY THIS!!
