This was significantly smaller than I envisioned when I was ordering it but I'm actually glad, as it makes for a cute little accent in a small room. You can use the lid top two ways: 1) with the fabric facing up as a foot rest banquette, or 2) with the lid flipped to its wood side, as a little mini side table. It just so worked out for me that I have a round marble top side table that is just the right height for this piece to partially slide under it, and it creates a nesting table arrangement of sorts! Because it's next to the sofa where we watch TV, it's also a great place to hide the TV's remote control from our dog (who's been known to destroy a remote or two), phone charger, and/or any other items you might want to keep handy and nearby. The fabric is a velvety soft microfiber (I got mine in a silvery light gray), and the legs are quite sturdy. Assembly was a breeze. I'm quite happy with it! 👍🏻 ... show more
