So I panicked when the box was received because it was a small box for a big item. The directions were easy and it took me about 15 minutes to assemble the product. It is sturdy and does the job. Would recommend. It dies not look cheap and looks like it will last for a long time.

This item holds the stated number of shoes per advertisement. It’s a bit more chintzy than expected, but it’s sturdy enough. According to the description, the item can hold up to 22 lbs and I would say that’s accurate. The item comes in many pieces, but assembly is easy with basic instructions and labeled parts. Pros: Quick assembly Easy instructions Price point Large size Cons: Not as sturdy as expected Chintzy material I don’t think I would purchase this again because the quality isn’t quite there, but the price point is fair for those of us who want something affordable but still gives a clean, organized look.

So perfect that we purchased a second one for our garage!!! We love that the bars are flat on this shoe holder design! It keeps the shoes from falling/slipping off like most angled shoe organizers, which was the one annoyance we were looking to eliminate. The metal bars are super lightweight (thin hallow metal) and push together easy, also no issues to clean. I would not apply any significant pressure to the bars, but they hold about 15 shoes without a problem (no sagging). The side pieces are held together by lightweight plastic connectors and are really easy to push into one another. Do not try to drag the shoe rack full of shoes by the side bars or the weight could cause the plastic connector to potentially snap. This item is ~ 3 feet L, 2 feet H, and 1 foot D. You could remove two of the poles from each shelf to shorten it by a foot if your space is not long enough. For $20, this shoe rack is totally worth it and I might buy a third one for a different space when I get more shoes!!

Warning: long review 😁 First let me say that this was one of the easiest assemblies I've received from Amazon lol. As with most things I've purchased from this site you're provided with visual instruction as opposed to written which in this case was a plus. When I ordered it I was expecting to receive a long tube-like package and was a bit nervous when I received the small box, and became even moreso when I opened it. Tubes. Just a bunch of short tubes lol. I put it aside and waited until I had the time and patience to deal with it, not knowing it wouldn't take much time or patience at all. I started off by assembling all of the long tubes. Occasionally I came across two tubes that wouldn't join. Instead of becoming frustrated I simply tried the other end and it worked. Once that was done I started with the bottom shelf first. I took one of the plastic ends and put the assembled tubes in that side first, then attached another plastic end on the other side over the same tubes completing the first shelf. (I'd reached out in the "questions" section after receiving the package and asked for any recommendations for putting it together and someone suggested doing one entire side first. However after completing the bottom shelf I saw where it would be be tricky after completely assembling one side trying to get all of those tubes in all of the holes in the plastic ends on the other side all at once, because it was a bit tricky just doing the bottom shelf. Anyway I worked my way up one shelf at a time and before I knew it I was done. I couldn't believe how quickly and easily I finished. I was initially considering purchasing the plastic storage shoe containers but I know for a fact that plastic is not good for leather. It makes leather peel because it can't breath. The small amount of ventilation those boxes provide will have people's expensive leather shoes soon peeling. While I know those boxes may look better they're worse for the shoes, not only because in time it will damage the leather but it holds the odor in. Imagine after awhile the entire shoe , including the outside leather, absorbing your foot odor. The idea of my for odor following me around everywhere... Just eww! The one issue I have with this rack is the way they designed the plastic ends. Instead of having them closed on the undersides they're hollow. It's hard to explain so you understand without seeing it, (and my shoes are already on the rack - maybe one day I'll remove them and provide photos), but if you try to use the stand upside down with the top shelf below and the open area on the floor so shoes can be stored beneath it using the floor as the first shelf, you can see the hollow underside of the plastic ends. I'd rather have the extra room underneath the shelves to store some shoes on the floor level so I turned it upside down. That's when I discovered the hollow ends and it doesn't look good, and unfortunately because of the way it's designed I'm not sure it can be put together in a way they won't show. Maybe it can, I'll have to figure it out at another time. That's my only issue though and it's not really a big deal. For under $20 this is the best deal for shoe storage and I'm sure I'll be purchasing another. It looks good, it's sturdy, and it does the job. I highly recommend it!
