I ordered this for one of my Wifes Birthday presents. She works in her garden all of the time. What's really nice about this is after you open it you can turn it upside down and use it as a knee pads. Also you can use the to help you get back up. This has been used many many times and works as it did when I first bought it. Made a great birthday present and I would defiantly buy another one if needed.

I use this more for a garden seat than a kneeler as my knees are bad and even with the pad, I can't do much kneeling. I find the garden seat very useful because it is narrow so that I can get it into a small space. I can use it when I weed my raised bed garden and when I pick the lower half of my blueberry bushes. The kneeler pad came off after only about a month and I had to glue it back on. This seat was higher than any of the other garden seats or carts that I saw when I was shopping. I like this because, again, bad knees--getting up/down from low seats makes my knees hurt.

I bought this for my husband who is in our small orchard every day. I saw him hurting from the strain of bending over, he's very tall. I put this together easily and surprised him with it, I'll be using it too. What is great is you have 2 different uses in one. One is for sitting when you are pruning, cutting, whatever. The other is flipping it over to kneel on the cushioned seat as your base to fertilize, pick weeds, etc. Really good well-thought out sitting and kneeling stool. Well-made also.

First of all, the handy kneeler/bench comes already assembled and ready to unfold. Storage pockets(included) can be added on both sides of the bench option, or you can leave them off. The kneeler is well cushioned, and getting up is easy with the legs acting as sturdy handrails. I actually prefer the bench option, which allows me to lean in close to my tasks and move along easily as needed. The bench could be useful for non gardening activities as well due to its fold-ability and light weight. This is a must have for aging gardeners!
