This ottoman/storage bench is much better than I anticipated! I am very pleasantly surprised. Barely any assembly- took me under 10 minutes to unwrap and set up. I love that it's narrow and that the top is tufted. It really elevates this inexpensive piece. Bonus points because the color perfectly matches my area ruf and very pleasantly makes the gold pop. Bigger than I thought it would be! Easy to assemble. Looks nice! Has a strong odor though! Not too chemically but close to it! Delivery came 3 days earlier than expected which was nice! Pretty solid piece! Didn’t expect to be able to sit on it but you can! Wouldn’t recommend it daily though just to maintain its structure and shape. I love this storage bench!! I actually ended up getting one for each bedroom. It’s been perfect for extra storage, especially since my townhome doesn’t have much closet space. Each one holds a lot of bedding (blankets, sheets, etc.) without feeling overstuffed. It’s also very sturdy. You can sit on it without any wobbling, and I’ve even used it as a step stool to hang curtains, which it handled without any issues. The design looks nice at the foot of the bed and doesn’t take up too much space. Things to keep in mind: It sits a bit low to the ground The cushion is on the firmer side, so it’s not ideal for long periods of sitting Overall, this is a great combination of storage and functionality. This product is amazing for my room size which is a very small room size. Having a bunch of dressers and shelves would take more space out of my room making it seem more smaller or over crowded with stuff. Buying this was an absolute must to have you open it and you have space, great for people to sit on or even in my case my dog using it at a stair to get on top of my bed. That was my plus having as a ladder for my small dog she was having trouble at her older age so this became convenient for my pug and I. I 100% recommended. ... show more

This storage trunk/bench comes packed in a flat box and is easy to set up. It took a bit of maneuvering to get the lid to fit properly because it’s super snug (a good thing)—I had to place the back and sides of the lid onto the storage box first, then pull the front of the lid out a bit to fit onto the front of the storage trunk. It’s a tight fit. The trunk/bench is sturdy when sitting on it to put on shoes, and the fabric and tufted buttons seem to be well-made enough to hold up over time. I like it! It fits well at the bottom of a queen size Ikea Malm bed and mine is holding 3 sets of queen sheets with 6 queen pillow cases, 4 king size pillow cases, 2 quilt-style queen size comforters, 4 pillow quilt-style shams, 2 queen size pillows, 2 small lap blankets, plus some misc pillow protectors! A bit more narrow looking in width for the bottom of my Queen Ikea Malm bed than I’d like it to look, but for $50 it’s great. Larger storage benches are $150 and up typically (Target, etc). The dimensions on Amazon, the China packaging of the product, and the actual storage bench, are interestingly all different. Amazon ad: 43 inches length x 15 in height x 15 in width Actual size: 43 x 14 x 15. Box states: 114.5 cm length (45 inches length) 39.5 cm width (15 1/2 inches width) 8.5 (3.35 inches height) I don’t use the divider that inserts into grooves down the middle of the trunk/Ben h to create 2 compartments —I slid it down the right side of the trunk/bench in case I need 2 compartments later and it fits there fine. The darker gray is neutral enough to coordinate with lots of furniture and bedding colors. Great purchase! ... show more
