I have an unusual use for this ottoman — I keep it in my minivan for one of my kids whose feet don’t touch the ground. It works great as a footrest and also provides much-needed storage. It’s sturdy enough that my 10-year-old can sit on it with no issues, and it holds all the things I didn’t have a spot for in the van (first aid kit, extra sweatshirt, hat, etc.). This has been a great solution for our Toyota Sienna, especially since the middle seat slides so far back. I am very happy with the value of this product, the gray color matches wonderfully with my interior and it's not too heavy that my kids can move it around when we have more friends in the car.

I got the SONGMICS Storage Ottoman in Midnight Blue, and let me tell you – it's a game changer! First off, the color is gorgeous. It’s this rich, elegant shade of blue that somehow makes my son’s room feel fancier (even though it’s still covered in Legos and dirty socks). The size is perfect for his room – not too big, not too small, and just right for stashing all of his "I’ll put these away later" clothes (which, let’s be real, are never going to make it to the closet). This little ottoman holds so much stuff, I’m starting to wonder if it has a secret second life as a black hole. It also has a solid weight capacity – can handle up to 286 lbs, so if I ever need a place to sit while I negotiate with him about cleaning his room, this ottoman’s got my back. 10/10, highly recommend for both stylish storage and helping your kid avoid doing laundry.

It's significantly larger in person than it was in my imagination. I'd planned to use it with an old fashioned rocking chair but it's both too tall to be ideal and too slippery on the bottom for my hard floors. While empty, and without any anti-skid strips on it, it moves around a lot. One cat easily tipped it over while jumping off of it. (Another predictably started sharpening on it the second she discovered it, as I was typing this review.) Padding seems okay for shorter use, maybe skimpy for longer use. It's sturdy enough to hold me as a seat (I weigh about 115lbs). Assembly involves nothing more than unfolding it and inserting the bottom support. All in all a pretty decent ottoman/storage cube.

This is exactly what I was looking for! It took me less than a minute to set it up. I got the small ottoman and it is the exact right height to serve as a foot rest in front of my chair. The box is very sturdy! Even sitting on it, I felt confident that it could hold my weight. It does have space inside to hold a small blanket or maybe an ideal space to collect the remote controls for the TV or to store other odds and ends. It’s definitely not a huge storage container so if that’s what you are looking for, you’ll probably want to get the next size up. The color is exactly as shown and the material of the box feels of nice quality. I’m pleased! Great price, great product!
