I’ve had this cutting board for about a month and it’s holding up really well. The striped wood pattern looks great on the counter and it feels sturdy and well made. It has a nice weight to it so it stays put when I’m chopping. The small rubber feet on both sides keep it stable and I like that one side has a groove while the other is flat. The surface was smooth right out of the box and didn’t need any sanding. I haven’t oiled it yet and it still looks great after regular use. Solid buy.

minutes ago literally just received the Doheny duo cutting board set . As the well designed packaging states Your collection just got Upgraded . This is so amazingly beautiful . Craftsmanship . Skilled Artisan . Master Woodwork . And it was on Sale. near complete perfection not a single scratch . a minor scrape not enough to complain about . This board is too nice to cut directly on it , i am one of Those who squeams at blemishes and scratched surfaces on my flatware, glassware, stemware, cookware. --you get the idea . Still I will layer with wax paper or a silpat to protect from scratches . The price is more than fair . Honestly not to give Sonder any ideas Anywhere else they would price this set for Twice as much . Boos level for a lot less . And that other high end that is not Boos . Which is Three times as much in cost for any size . You know who it is. Dare I say Beyond On Par. Hefty Weight . Solid Construction . This board set is by no means hollow or lightweight . This cutting board is beautiful out of the box. While I am just a regular dude(not a chef for decades), I can appreciate some exceptionally crafted knives and kitchen tools. This board is an equal partner in crime for your favorite high end chef blade. The board itself is beautifully crafted in appearance and function which makes it an enjoyable experience to give it the appropriate care: oil/wax/hand-wash/dry during its life and work cycle. The wood holds up to repetitions of even my sharpest knives holding its beauty over the months of use. The non-slip feet of the board are well designed in form and function. The wood is strong and holds its beauty so far under heavy volume of use. Its appearance enhances photographing food if you are into that kind of thing. The aspect that stands out most regarding this board is the customer service at Sonders. At some point while not in use, the board developed a split on the short side about quarter length down the middle of the board. After reading through some reviews, I found the Sonders email and shot them over some photos and a short narrative of the issue. The folks at Sonders consideration and engagement with me through this conversation stands out as a top end model that companies would be wise to strive for. Not only was the representative curious, considerate, knowledgeable and kind, they agreed to replace the board and got it to my residence in 2 days. It felt refreshing and a rare experience to feel a company backing their product to this level. I would highly recommend this product based solely on the customer service interaction if you are in the market for this class and style of cutting board. Not only will be in good hands throughout the life of the board, you will be casting a vote for small business's that are truly putting out a quality product and standing behind it even if its at times at their own expense which is getting to me more rare these days. I typically only do reviews for terrible product to save others the trouble BUT THIS CUTTING BOARD is SO BEAUTIFUL, so well designed, so clean and well put together. And also serves its purpose in being a great cutting board. From the moment you see the box and the wrapping, with such care, it feels like a Christmas present has arrived! I am already thinking of who I could send to as Christmas presents. Great craftsmanship and functionality. I am usually a “nothing on the counter” person but this will be prominently displayed. Also contains great directions on care to maintain its beauty. Wonderful product. Best blind purchase I have made in years!
