If you are looking to be comfortable, flexible and elegant, this is the coat you need. Good value for money and good quality. I recommend the usual size if only with a shirt, but if you wear a suit, I recommend a larger size for more comfort.

I bought this Somthron long peacoat, and it was way too large. Not sure what type of pattern they use but it was like playing dress up when you were a kid. I'm 6'2" and standard build but this coat was more than 4" too wide in the shoulders and at the hips it was like they made it for a Ken doll. I set it up to return and got the next size smaller. the second coat was okay in the shoulders, but you needed to have a 30" hips. I set it up to return and Amazon. they sent me a return slip. Still haven't received the return slip for the first coat. when it got here, they want me to pay for the postage to send it back over seas to who knows where, but the cost is more than the coat cost. If you google Somthron no one knows where the company is located at except Amazon. They seem to be the only seller it looks like. I've bought more then 1500 items through Amazon and this is the only one that has been beyond disappointing. ... show more

It's a perfect coat, exactly the style and material I was looking for. This was my second order. I ordered a large first based off the size chart but it was 2 sizes too small so I returned it without issue and purchased a xxl. It fits great, I couldn't be happier with it.

It feels like crushed fleece more than wool. The price is good if you're looking for something that will look nice in pics. I dont think it'll keep you very warm, which is a shame because i LOVED the fit and look.
