They would never really charge and work. One is all that seemed to ever want to stay charged no matter how we positioned them. **Update** After I left my review, the seller (Lexie) reached out multiple times and sent a whole set of replacement lights. I have had them out for a few days and I would say these need to be in very direct sunlight but they are working great and bright. I will do the official install this weekend. The customer service is amazing and they truly care about their customers and want them to be satisfied. The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: I was contacted by the company and offered to resend a new set of lights, which is exactly the customer service I was hoping for. I will update a new picture as some as I have the non working one replaced. Thank you for standing behind your product! I bought two packs of these. A 16 pack and an 8 pack. I lined our whole fence line in the backyard with them. One of the lights barely works at this point. These have only been installed less than a month. I tried to call the number provided by Amazon, but it just goes to an answering machine and only allows you to leave a 10 second message. I don’t see how I can get a replacement for this without ordering a whole new pack. Interested to see how long it takes for the rest to fail, too. The sad part is I recommended these to a lot of my friends and my family. If I could’ve got a hold of customer service and offered an acceptable resolution, I would’ve been satisfied. ... show more

I ordered these back on July 30th, 2023. I installed them in August on the outer edges of my steps leading up to the porch at the front of the house. My first impression was excellent. They looked and performed beautifully. Unfortunately, it has only been about 5 months and more than half of them have already failed. They were not stepped on, but were installed outdoors and subjected to typical Maine weather. They've been rained on and they've seen below freezing temperatures. I purchased these specifically because the store page says they are "IP65 Waterproof & Long working time," but my firsthand experience with these suggests these are not IP65 waterproof and they do not last for long. I liked the look and convenience of these when they worked, so I'll definitely buy replacements. However, I'll be going with a different brand/manufacturer next time. EDIT: Kudos for SOLPEX for reading my review and offering to refund my purchases. Excellent customer service is something hard to find these days, so they've earned my appreciation and respect. I hope they will work on their product design a bit more so I can become a customer of theirs again in the future. ***UPDATE - customer service responded I think within 2 days and wanted to set right our issues. I spoke with a person named Lexie about our issue and they wanted to issue a full return. I asked if the broken lights could be replaced instead because I thought that would be more fair and they went and overnighted a full box to us! Unbelievable customer service. I would recommend shopping with this company any day. I've wanted to wait a bit to write our review to see if these all worked. They have been up and illuminating for almost 5 months. All of them worked for the first 2 months. First problem was two of them started to flicker as soon as they kicked on at dusk. We shrugged it off thinking maybe it was spotty clouds that messed with the charging during the day. Then they stopped flickering and went black completely for days on end while the rest worked beautifully. We decided to unscrew them from the deck and check them out. They were water logged so bad with rust all over the circuit board so we dried them out near our dehumidifier thoroughly and tried them on the deck again. Let some sunny days go by and they are still not working. So as of today we have 2 dead deck lights and 2 that just likes to flicker for maybe the first 5 minutes of dusk and then lights out. We loved them- they were placed to illuminate our deck and stairs off to the drive for our early risers who go into work when it's still black out. For the cost of them- we hoped they would of lasted atleast a year. Bummer. Maybe you guys will have better luck with a better batch? ... show more
