I waited 4 months to write this as I wanted to see how they held up. I put up 30 of them around our acre lot fence and they all still work. Even through a hail storm that damaged my truck and roof. I like the more warmer light. They last the entire night and look just about as bright at 5 am as they do at 10 pm. If you have the need, buy them. Worth every penny. ... show more

After that they would only burn for a couple hours and not very bright. I’m thinking that they are not getting enough direct sunlight for a full charge. There is a small bridge that goes over a creek in our back yard and we put some of them there and we can easily see anything going on at night with these lights. I purchased this set of patio lights in mid-June 2024, and by December 1st, they have unfortunately stopped working completely. Despite living in Southern California where these lights received full sunlight every day, their performance quickly declined. Initially, they worked brilliantly for about 2-3 months. However, I soon noticed that they began turning off earlier and earlier each night. Now, they are no longer functional. I have a small patio and wanted a soft, inviting, light and didn’t want to look at a cumbersome string of bulbs. ! I attached them with black, 3M, Velcro picture hanging strips, which are perfect. You can see the tab in the first pic. This allows me to move them if I don’t like the placement, and won’t cause damage to the rails. I’ve had these up for over a month, been through frequent thunderstorms, torrential downpours, and they are holding strong and beautiful! Another thing I like about these is they have a light that shines up and down so it just gives the patio a warm cozy feeling. In the pictures the light looks really bright, but it isn’t. It is bright enough to sit on the patio and enjoy it, see what u need to see, but not bright like bulbs. The media could not be loaded. I love the lights, they are inexpensive and install in seconds, we have an acre yard and they look great! I used two 1" wood screws each and shot them into the top of each post, 48 of these lights in less than 30 minutes. I bought an extra box for spares, we live in the country so everything takes a beating from the sun and rain and hail so no surprises if some take a hit. Adds a nice touch to the back yard get togethers. The lights also have the top side for wood stairs which I didn't need but at least the UFOs have a place to land...enjoy! Update: a week later I ordered and added more and filled in the rest of posts. Keep in mind we've been hammered by storms for a couple of months here in north Texas and the lights are still good to go. Updating 4-12-25, posting a video I am still so very proud of these things withstand extreme cold, extreme heat, winds, doesn't matter love them they look great! ... show more
