We have an open deck on a corner lot so our back yard and deck are seen from the road in front of our house. The open deck has been a problem because there is no railing around it, it is easy to misstep and stumble from one step to the next. We have stained the middle “step/ring” around the deck a darker color than the top and bottom so we can see the edge. At night however, we cannot always see the edge. These lights are perfect! The fit right on the edge of the steps so we can clearly see the edge. They recharge during the day from the ample sun that hits our deck and continue thru the night. They also look lovely as one drives by on the road in front of our house. Neighbors have stopped by and commented on how nice they look and asked where we got them. My daughter and son in law came for a visit and admired them and also wanted to know where to purchase them. Our friends from Florida came for a visit and they also complimented and inquired as to where to purchase. They are well worth the price!!! We haven’t had a winter with them yet so snow fall maybe an issue for them to recharge we will wait and see. I am very pleased with them so far however. ... show more

    • Easy to install but put out very little light

The solar lights were easy to install. All the screws are included. You just need a screw driver. They are small and are light weight, so of course, they don’t produce much light. We put them on the fence — our dogs’ fenced in area. The lighted area looks attractive but that’s about it. I think these solar lights are more suited for stair steps (as they are advertised). We had 2 left over which we put on our deck steps. These provided enough light on the steps. They seem to be sturdy. I think they will last awhile. We’ll see. We selected the brown color to match the wood on the fence. The color matched well. We have ordered a few larger solar lights to augment the fenced area, which we should have done in the first place. ... show more

I have put these on the front steps coming up to our house. They work very well and cast just the right amount of light. One of these did go out but fortunately I had extras to replace it. Although it seems to work again after I took it off. Anyway...great little lights. Hopefully they stand the test of time. ... show more

they worked great for about a week ,and then one day they work at night ,but time it gets 5 am in the morning they seem to lose any power and its pitch dark outside . wich defeats the purpuse of having lights to see your steps .maybe something better out there i dont know but i doubt i will buy theses again . with money so tight theses days i just can afford to throw money away . ... show more

Very strong bright lights. In the photo you can see the lighting coming from my neighbors spotlight and these mighty things are stealing the show nevertheless.
