  • My 6th Unit!!! But take note!! Know the kinks!
update 1: Okay so it took me a while to figure this stack out. She works, and when she does, works very well. There are some Kinks.. 1) She doesn't like other cli dump files. It is best to leave as much as the manufacturer's default settings as possible. There is something in there that is crucial for this unit to work, any other cli dump may cause quad to have throttle runaways. Only change your Ports (Rx uart2, dji Uart4, GPS uart6), Your Failsafe tab, Modes, OSD, Receiver and GPS tabs. Do this Manually. Do not touch anything in Configuration and only change your pid values in your PID tuning tab if desired, should be 12 values in total. Example below taken from my manta 5: set p_pitch = 37 set i_pitch = 67 set d_pitch = 36 set f_pitch = 99 set p_roll = 35 set i_roll = 63 set d_roll = 30 set f_roll = 95 set p_yaw = 35 set i_yaw = 63 set d_yaw = 0 set f_yaw = 95 Update 2: The manuafactures pid values will have you flying FAST! I loved it, but the handling wasn't as locked in the way I like so I changed pid values. Any other changes in pids/filters will cause runaways and flyway's, and if you change config tab you might have possible 10v pad/03 connector vs bat power issues, guaranteed. Weird, I know, but at 60 bucks per stack you have to expect things like this. Gotta get pads really hot for solder to stick, flux it. I wouldn't flash FC firmware but if you do be sure to first download your dump file, you'll need it. I did Flash ESC to BlueJay 18 because I run bidirectional support in Motors tab, bluejay versions 19 and higher will cause you to blow esc, and using bheli_s motors run rough, jittery. Bluejay 18/bidirectional is the way to go. Do not change pid filters/power tab/configuration tab at all!(except for 12 pid values and rates). Update 3: Just bought another one! as long as amazon have in stock i will buy from them, but aliexpress have these on sell for $50($54 after tax), they are usually $59 on that site. Very tempting but i feel the overnight shipping and customer/return service amazon provides is worth the $10 - $16 difference, imo. ... show more

  • Beautifully manufactured
Beautifully manufactured, clean silkscreen, and flies as smooth as butter with Betaflight 4.5. After calibration, the current sensor reads true and the power it delivers to my analog camera/VTX is clean with a solid video feed. Lots of UARTs that are easy to get too.

  • THE BEST OPTION FOR NO TARIFFS
With all the high-priced tariffs that were going on in this world of trumpism, this really is not a bad option. Although there's some courts that got to worked around but not that bad. With powerful ESC's in a fairly decent flight controller can't complain. There's no extra tariffs you have to pay when it crosses the United States line ... show more

  • Don’t buy
CHANGE CAPACITORS!!!! I bought 4 of these Flight Controllers and all of them broke. The main STM32 chip got burned due to one single crash. It was due to the capacitor not having proper contact or it’s not filtering correctly. The ESC is amazing and doesn’t get hot at all. The board its self is very bad quality since it’s a V1 and not the latest version. Please don’t buy anything sologood unless it’s a GPS. ... show more

  • Soldered this bad boy up and it flys fast
reducing 1 start from 5 because you really have to heat up the solder pads on the ESC to get the solder to stick. It's like they coated it, which is fine, but it would be nice if you didn't coat the solder pads. Just get your soldering iron hot and place it on the pad with some solder for like 5 seconds and it stuck ... show more
