I can’t even begin to say how satisfied I am with this drone. I live deep in the country and I watched a deer thermally 50 yards from my property. I dropped the drone between trees and watched him scrub against the. The drone can be deployed in 1 minute from your back porch and you can send it up to check out your property quickly. I can’t believe I didn’t buy this sooner. 10 stars.

The media could not be loaded. This drone is an amazing drone! It has all the thermal imaging and features that I love. I would highly suggest you get this drone. for sure. Packaging: It was NOT in the original packaging box for the Autel shipping box. It was in the original Autel store new box, then put loosely in an Amazon box. I was a little disappointed by that, and I am glad nothing was broken or damaged. Everything in the box was there. However, one battery was not working properly and still does not work properly. I reached out to the seller and have yet to hear back about this battery issue. I have uploaded the video and photos of the battery and the defective battery. The drone is connected, it flyes flawlessly and I love the fact it is much more quieter than the DJI. Features. The controller is a bit laggy. Esp from switching from thermal to regular view. There is no option at all to make it a custom button to swap from regular view to thermal view. Graded the controller. -3 However, the thermal sensor is the same as the DJI Matrice. The thermal worked great and will do what it needs to do. The custom button only works for the map to original view, ATT, Autofocus on/off, and Ludicrous mode to regular mode. It would be nice to have that custom button adjusted to the thermal or original view. It does not have a split screen. It has a picture in picture view. The DJI matrix has the split screen. Gimble: The gimble goes up and down, but not side to side. You have to turn the drone from side to side. The DJI Matrice has the gimble that turns side to side. Gimbal- 3 plus the DJI Matrix has a better pitch than the Autel does. Speaker: The speaker works flawlessly and is super loud and clear and can be heard from 200ft in the air. It gives the live speak or you can record and then play it. The speaker is louder and clearer than the DJI Matrice - 5 The spotlight: cons and good: I was expecting the spot light to move with the gimbal. That is not the case with this drone. If you want the spotlight to move, you have to do it before flight - manually. It is best to pre-test it at night to figure out where your favorite setting is and mark it with a pen so that way you know where you want it. The spotlight is way brighter than the DJI Matrice I graded the spotlight as a 5. I love the longer propellers. They are way quieter, and I love that they are more sturdier than the other blades for the drones. Everything else is a 100% of what it is supposed to be. I am keeping the drone. The drone must be registered with the FAA, I do have my FAA 107 license. I have been a drone operator for over 6yrs. I would normally give 5 stars to such an item I really, really love. Which I do. There are cons and pros to this drone and the person getting it must really look closely at the features of what is more important to you. Three factors contributed to my dissatisfaction for a three star: The packaging of how it came to me loosely in the amazon box . That original box was not secure enough and was not tight packaging, and the seller's lack of response to my defective battery issue. Also having a battery that was defective. I do not feel it to be safe to use it in the drone. I was finally after work on it, I was able to get the defective battery to finally charge, I do not trust this battery to fly. I am still expecting to return/replace that one battery thou. As for the drone itself, it is my dream drone, and everything about it is amazing. For the most part. Things are great on the way the drone flies and everything else was neatly packaged up in the original box. I am not wanting to return the drone, but just have the battery taken care of only. I have messaged the seller, but no responses yet and still expect a response. It is also the holiday weekend (new years day week) which I am taking in consideration and will expect to hear back within the next week at the latest. I will update on the situation that happened when that comes with comments. I will not change the star rating. For the most part. I am very, very happy with the drone itself. The gimble head cover was not on the drone either. It was loosely lying in the box. The gimbal seemed to be ok and nothing was damaged. For the last few autels I have. Every gimbal cover was off the drone and it seemed to be a main occurrence when receiving this drone. The gimble cover is also harder to put on,and not user friendly. However, the drone itself is ready to fly once it is bound to the account and to the radio controller. Easy set up and easy use. Super easy to fly right out of the box after the batteries are charged. I would for sure buy this drone again if I had to, but next time I will get it straight from the manufacturer's website.

The logistics and transportation are very fast, I don't have to worry about it. As a thermal imaging drone, the 640t has a thermal imager lens with a thermal resolution of 640*512 and is able to zoom in 4 times, so I can see clearly in the distance no matter what I use it for.I have flown it twice so far, and everything is going well!

My employer purchased this for me for search and rescue work and right out of the box the controller would not accept a charge. It was sent back to Autel for service and they advised that they replaced the controller. Upon return, the replacement controller has a flickering ghost image of "Born to Explore" on the screen at all times which is the opening splash screen phrase. I haven't even been able to fly the drone yet due to extremely poor quality control. Despite the ghost image I am going to at least test flight the drone to make sure there are no other issues before sending this back yet again. Autel needs to do better. Assuming the controller issue is resolved to my satisfaction and there are no flight issues I will consider increasing my rating.

the whole kit was shipped promptly swiftly and arrived in perfect condition which I could follow with the tracking. The store also followed up and answered my technical questions promptly. The Autel EVO II 640T worked perfectly and beautifully from the first moment and was easy and safe to learn even on a cold windy day and I already took my first pictures and videos of Dolphins over the ocean both in HD and Infrared.
