Features

  • MOST UNIQUE FIRE PIT: Solo Stove Bonfire pushes the limits of both combustion airflow efficiency and minimalist outdoor design with its all stainless steel construction. It was brilliantly engineered to provide a backyard fire experience that cannot be duplicated. Our patent pending design sold over $1.1M sold on kickstarter.
  • SECONDARY COMBUSTION: The camping stove has double wall design maximizes airflow and burning process. Bottom vent holes allow oxygen to the feed the fire from below while simultaneously channeling warm oxygen up between the walls of the stove and back into the fire.
  • A MORE EFFICIENT BURN: A more complete burn means the little particles that would have been smoke are burned up by the top vents. It also means no more half burned logs to deal with.
  • NO MORE SHUFFLING FROM SMOKE: Since the Bonfire burns with almost no smoke, you'll spend less time dodging smoke and your clothes won't smell like campfire. You'll have more backyard or camping memories around the spectacular Solo Stove portable fire pit.
  • EASY TO USE & PORTABLE: This camping stove singular construction completely removes the need for parts and assembly! Bring it from your backyard patio to camping, or tailgating! Great for RVs and campers! 19.5x14 inch size camping fire pit.

  • Not sure why we waited so long to buy this
Size: W/ Removable Ash Pan & Base Plate
This baby puts out some serious heat! And you don’t go to bed with your hair and clothes smelling like campfire. It comes with a portable carrying case but I’m not sure I would travel farther then from the front yard to the back yard with this bc although it’s not huge it’s not really mobile size either. We use it on our deck with a heat retardant shield elevated a few inches on bricks to allow addition air flow and bottom remains cool while the top is raging with heat. I’m impressed with the technology. We make sure to cover this after every use as it is thin and lightweight and we have seen our neighbors age poorly from not being covered. Highly recommend ... show more

  • Awesome product
Size: W/ Removable Ash Pan & Base Plate
Great packaging, shipping. Great design. Easy to put together, easy to light up. Smokes while lighting it up, but after that it’s smoke free - we love it!

  • Efficient, nearly smokeless, great for a small space.
Size: Bonfire
The media could not be loaded. VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE. Friends are jealous. Bought this as a quick setup/pickup fire pit for my apartment’s small backyard patio. I DO use the extra ventilation ring to prevent heat damage to the patio. So far have only used it in 30-40 degree weather here in northern Japan using store-bought split wood—which is some kind of conifer (it’s harder than pine, but not as long lasting as oak). Usually I light it as an upside-down fire (big pieces on bottom, getting smaller up to the kindling and tinder at the top with 2-3 vaseline dipped q-tips) for ease of lighting. This setup requires only a couple small pieces to be added as the fire builds and moves further down into the pit. The VENTILATION on this fire pit is excellent! Have not had a single fire go out once lit without completely burning all the fuel. That said, on a couple occasions the wood has been a little wet still & with the cold temps it has struggled to get the temperature up high enough to burn efficiently (where all the wood is burning at once). I trick I stubbled upon is to concentrate the heat (once the bottom most logs were burning) by partially covering the fire with a bunch of leaves. It will choke the fire for a couple minute (will be smokey), trapping the heat until the fire burns through the leaves. After that the fire is hot enough to burn all the wood at once, with nearly zero smoke & a nice volume of flames. Probably not an issue at warmer temps. I store mine inside next to the wood after it has burned down & completely cooled off. Very easy to pick up and move. Just remember to wear shoes in case you lose grip & drop it. Cheers! So, update now that temps are out of the sub-30’s...holy s#%t, this thing lights right up & gets HOT! Have figured out a few low budget tricks to get it there quickly (pine cones (10-20) around the base wood stack & a TP tube with bacon grease soaked paper towels [I was going to through it out anyways]) in the center. Easy light with kindling and once burning efficiently there is no stopping this this fire pit...did not even have to add leaves to concentrate the heat. It will burn it all down to ash. Super easy to clean & set up for the next event. Could not be happier with this purchase. Once going strong will even burn through the rain. ... show more

  • Great fire pit
Size: W/ Removable Ash Pan & Base Plate
We absolutely love ours! Very easy to use and to clean up. Burns extremely hot so absolutely everything is reduced to fine ash. We got it to use when camping but like it so much we also use it at home.

  • Some things I didn't consider...
Size: Bonfire
Some thing I didn't consider when I bought this for our family: 1. You can't put this out like a traditional firepit. It isn't supposed to have any water on it (rain included) or it clogs the vents. You are supposed to let the fire die out. We cheated and let it get low, stirred it around a bit until it was subtle then turned it over on the dirt. 2. The bottom gets hot (well the whole unit gets hot just like any firepit) so you need to purchase the base if it isn't on cement. Also if you try to touch it anywhere burns will occur. Not the greatest for kids. Or turning it over in the dirt. 3. There is smoke until the fire is fully established, I just assumed minimal smoke the entire time. Once the fire is established it shoots all through the middle and is happiness. Once the fire dies down the smoke returns and happiness lessens. I wish I would have thought these through and really weighed these points with the cost but overall I would still buy it again today. ... show more

We are extremely pleased with our new Solo Bonfire 2.0 Fire Pit! I purchased this for my husband as a gift and he loves it! It was so easy to start a fire and best of all you need very few logs to get a nice fire and no smoke. Looking forward to the Spring when we go camping! I definitely would recommend this to everyone ... show more
