We have a 2024 Imagine and Our awning broke in a storm. We called the dealer to fix it and they quoted $3200 and it would be 3 weeks before they even looked at it! We were determined we could fix it on our own! The maker has great videos online to help with the install process and my husband and I were able to do it on our own. We ended up purchasing the 2 arm set, even though we only needed one arm (with the motor) but it was almost more expensive to purchase a single arm than the dual. Now we have an extra just incase anything in the future were to happen again ... show more

    • Good seller bad OEM pacakging.
Some mistakes were made on my part so I needed these to replace my awning arms. These are technically conversion arms for non powered awnings but they replace solara 3000 awning arms just fine. You can find them cheaper if you don't need the motor but I needed the covers as well and those seperately were more expensive and now I have an extra motor. Lippert sells these at a higher price which is just crazy to me so good on the seller. The lippert packaging is really bad. The first box was so broken UPS had taped it up but who knows what was missing and they looked more mangled than what I was replacing from the holes in the box. The driver thought it was so bad he waited when he dropped the package and I refused shipment. The sellers response was within hours and they shipped a replacement the same or next day. New package was ok but not great. At least it was not worse than what I was replacing. They worked great and replacement took maybe an hour with 2 people. These work great and resolved my problem cheaper than buying direct from lippert or the trailer manufacturer. If I need more I know where to get them. One star removed just for really poor packaging from OEM. ... show more

Arms are exactly what they say they are. But, I needed a new motor and bought a new set of arms for my Grand Design 25G. These fit perfectly, easy replacement job. This is a new trailer to me and my old trailer has a Care Free self dumping awning. Never been a problem. First rain one day after replacing the arms in the middle of the night I was awakened by the awning collapsing onto the picnic table. Tore the cap off of the end of the non-motorized arm. After a lot of work and banging and force we were able to at least get the awning to retract and secure it for the ride home. A call to Lippert and a conversation with a very nice lady was enlightening, yes it does say "self dumping" but your not supposed to leave it open in the rain because it will collapse and get wrecked, it might dump and it might not. She offered to refer me to the spare parts department. I have shipped it back and am hoping the A to Z warranty works. This is an edit to my original review Parts Via came through with a full refund, no problems, no argument. I just got an email saying the full amount had been refunded ... show more

I'm here, and you may very well be here too because this advertised feature in fact, does not work. That said, this replacement worked perfectly. You may have read some of the One Star Reviews....I did. a few complained that upon delivery the plastic housing around the motor was shattered. Well, mine was too. I don't feel its a poor reflection of the product overall, rather the delivery person man-handling the box upon delivery. In my case, I had the old housing from my damaged awning to use as a replacement. I did contact Solara and brought the matter, and these one-star Amazon reviews to their attention. They would be better served if they reassessed the packaging of their product and did a better job of protecting these plastic parts. ... show more

I had to replace the awning brackets due toy own stupidity. I left the awning extended one night and we got a heavy rain that got retained on the awning and eventually bent the arms. I was quoted $3,000 to get this repaired and then I found these on Amazon saving me $2,300. They were easy to install with good instructions. ... show more
