The setup was easy and the app works perfectly. The captured pictures and videos are easy to review and delete while using the app. The live stream feature is amazing and works great, has crystal clear video while watching live. I can connect to live stream starting within around 30 ft away or more with my phone. The live stream doesn't use any phone data, it just uses your Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to connect through the app. No wifi hotspot data is used. The battery holds up well when live viewing and to the normal day to day pictures and videos captured when the solar panel charged all the way. The sound quality comes through okay. Easy to understand and hear noises and voices. The night vision shows up great and the motion sensors make sure to capture everything that passes by. I purchased this camera for my yard to view wild life, take photos or videos. The menu on the camera and the app are very easy to navigate. The sales rep, Marsha was extremely helpful answering any questions and willing to assist to resolve any problems or get answers regarding the product. Since I'm still exploring the best configuration, location etc.. my evaluation is not complete. It was easy to mount to a tree and the solar panel charging the lithium battery is a good feature along with the AA battery backup. I'm able to connect to the device wifi most times but it may require several tries if you are not out of range. The menu offers you the option of setting your phone to the built in wifi if you encounter problems (nice feature) ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I live in a midtown area and nightly feed the urban wild creatures, raccoons, skunks, opossum and feral cats, in the backyard. The camera is mounted low on a tree over looking the feeding area. The app is downloaded to an iPhone and iPad connecting to the camera via blue tooth/wifi, the solar panel gets maybe 3 hours of direct sun and daily keeps the built in battery charged. The creatures being small do not always trigger the cam, but that is a criticism of the sensor technology being used in trail cams… The image quality is ok, both still and video. The media could not be loaded. I bought this after a bad experience with another brand of trail cam. Unlike the first one I bought this one has clear and detailed instructions, saves files as .mp4 (instead of .avi like the first one), and can be recharged with the included solar panel or a USB-C cable. No more replacing 8 AA batteries. You can set it to take video, photo, or both and it even has time lapse capability. Connects to my iPad reliable (although the range is not quite as good as stated).
