It is compatible with 2.4G/5G WiFi router when setting up. aosuBase is connected to the router with an ethernet cable, and security cameras receive signal from the aosuBase, which provides longer signal coverage and more stable transmission. Is it 24/7 continues recording? This aosu solar-powered security camera system records events only when motion is detected, it doesn't record when nothing is happening. Does it has any fees for recording and any other features? aosuBase offers 32GB for local storage. Around 120 days of loop recording for 2-Cam kit, 60 days for 4-Cam kit. No need to buy SD card. "Best-in-class camera system. Works perfectly right out of the box with an extremely easy setup and a very nice, user-friendly app. The best part of this system is that you don't need to pay for cloud storage—it saves videos locally with fast, easy access to high-quality footage. I previously had a Blink system that constantly switched to cloud storage and took a long time to load videos; Blink is a piece of garbage compared to this Aosu system. Great cameras!
Set name: 2-Cam-Kit
Cameras work great and have a good quality video and sound! Day or Night everything is clear. Solar panels keep them charged easily i never see the battery below 100%. Notifications come through easily and dont miss a thing. I love the settings and everything it allows us to customize including motion detection between people or animals. For the price you cant beat these cameras they are well worth the investment. We have had to reset one of the cameras one time after a power outage.

Coverage like a bank or Kwik-E-Mart
Replaced a different brand of "AI enhanced" cameras that failed frequently and were very unreliable with notifications (and required a cloud subscription) and always failed to provide a live view when really needed. Only a week in, so I will update if things change, but at this point I am very satisfied and impressed: • The picture is amazing • Night vision is very good • Notification areas work very, very well; able to block the street and other areas of no interest from Motion detection so few false events. • Notifications arrive very quickly (and have been reliable) • The range is amazing (I have two sets - two base stations - one for the front yard and one for the back); one camera is about 150' from a base and it works perfectly (Live view in SD mode... picture stutters in UHD mode, but records in UHD). • Installation was easy (I was able to mount several on the brackets from the old cameras) • The solar panels are keeping them fully charged • No subscription necessary!! Base stores recordings. • A week in and both base stations register almost no memory use with lots of "events" captured • The "combined" feature is great: follows the same target from camera to camera • Unlike the other junky cameras (check my reviews for who made those), these guys go to Live vision every time I have tried so they actually provide security when something goes bump in the night.

Decent app, nice quality. Mostly good. (Has one real weakness.)

I used to have a Blink system, which was a good intro into having home cameras but really quite terrible with latency and connection issues, but when I upgraded my home router to an Eero Mesh, using Blink became impossible. After considering many other systems, I went with AOSU, and was pretty amazed right away at the jump in quality compared to Blink for being in the same price point ballpark. I have two of these outdoor cameras, which came with solar. One of them recharges itself flawlessly. The other in an area with less sun was gradually losing battery power at a net loss day by day, so I eventually used a USB C charging cable through the wall to give it constant power, and now it thinks it's 'charging' all the time. The app is pretty clean and easy to work with. I also picked up two AOSU indoor 360 degree cameras, which synced up with the app just fine, and those are awesome. The syncing isn't COMPLETELY cut and dry though. The two outdoor units connect to a home base center, which is plugged directly into the router where my modem is. The two indoor 360 cameras don't sync with the base; they just communicate with the app directly. Kind of weird and sloppy that the systems don't all work together in the same way, but it's okay. I did mention one weakness. The base unit that hooks into the router must be hooked directly into the router. It can't stand on its own wirelessly like you'd think it should. Which means that if the router is a decent distance from the cameras outside, there might be connection weakness. I had that problem once where I couldn't connect to the cameras on the app, and that's when I realized that I wouldn't be able to relocate the base unit to a better location. But it hasn't been much of a problem. Hardly ever. Overall this is pretty good for the price.

Not fully wifi/horrible customer services

The base must be pluged into router to work. The cameras will only work maybe 50ft from the base. I called customer service they are 24/7 but gives hours of operation on the app. The man i spoke to was pleasant. The person that was emailing me Ivy was telling me i need to watch videos. Spoke in circles and did not understand that i have an outside wifi extender to my barn. The base can not be outside connected to the extender. I was told it did not need to be plugged into the extender a few times told to watch videos a few times. Maybe she should have askd why are you using an extender or took the time to read what i wrote.

Great cameras and excellent video quality
I purchased this product a few months ago, by mid November. It was easy to install, and the cameras have been working perfectly. The video quality is great, and the night vision is excellent. I had issues with the battery draining too fast in one of the cameras, but it was solved by adjusting the solar panel to capture more sunlight. On rainy or cloudy days they still charge although it’s a bit slower, but nothing to worry about. The Wi-Fi signal capability is very good also, one of the cameras is far from the router and I was surprised that it got the signal pretty good (one bar though, but enough to work perfectly). I had another issue with one of the cameras that the battery drained suddenly during the night even though there were no unusual events that night. It was solved after unmounting and charging the camera with the provided USB cable for a few hours. After that lone incident it continued to work perfectly. Customer service is excellent, they answered really fast and helped me with hints on how to solve my issue. So, I’m happy over all with the product and the service.

These stay connected.
Great camers. The actually stay connected. Great intercom and I love that you can see all cameras on screen at the same time. The hub makes all the difference. Would recommend.

Work very well
I’ve been using them for about two months now and they are great. There is about a 20 second lag, but for the price, they’re well worth it.
