I recommend this book to anyone testing for the PVIP or who wants to understand the details that go into sizing and building a solar array. The practice exams were helpful and gave me the insights and confidence to take and pass the test. Hopefully, there will be an ESIP book coming soon

Good Book

I used this book to study for (and pass) the NABCEP PVDS exam. The sample problems were very helpful. I also bought the Heat Springs PVDS sample exam which helped. I recommend the book.

Great book to pass yo nabcep

Ah yes, the quintessential nabcep study guide hats off to Sean white. I passed using this guide studying hard for a week straight. I don't recommend that. If your in solar and need to take this outdated money grab of a test get this book. If you work in solar Nabcep and pvsyst production software are the most outdated gold standards the industry puts on a pedestal. My employer paid for the test and heatspring practice test online or else there is no way I would have got my nabcep cert. ... show more

Took me to the next level
After studying Solar Photovoltaic Basics, I then lived with this book for 6 months and took it wherever I went. The size was not too intimidating, yet packed with information I could digest over time. Everyone who passes the PVIP exam uses this book. Thank you!!
