Description

The NABCEP PV Installation Professional Exam is the gold standard certification exam for PV professionals and is famously difficult to pass. This book will provide test-taking strategy that can be used to most effectively study for and pass the exam. Code and theory is explained in the first half and will prove as useful background for the heart of the book which consists of practice exam questions and detailed explanations of the answers. It also contains essential strategy tools, short term memory tips and recommended reading which will be invaluable for anyone studying for the exam. The material in this book is not limited to those taking the exam as it will also be, more broadly, important for career progression and helping the reader to work safely with code compliant PV systems. • For those who are serious about PV installation
For anyone planning to take the NABCEP Solar Professional course this is the book to get. It’s literally the text book for the course. This book is well organized and to the point. I would definitely recommend getting this book and studying it thoroughly at least a month in advance before taking the course and get a copy of the NEC to go with it. If you are serious about learning about PV installations you really need to have this book. ... show more

  • Great Technical Solar Professional Book
This is exactly what I have been looking for. The book includes the technical information every solar professional needs to know. Sean White makes it very easy to understand the NEC related to solar. I highly recommend this book for any solar engineer or contractor.

  • Awesome study/reference book
Excellent book. Plenty of information shared in a simple, clear, organized manner. The practice tests are very thorough, and the answers are explained and include code references.

  • This is simply a stream of consciousness list of facts with no organization.
I am a physician for 40 years as well as an electrical contractor. I have read countless textbooks and instructional publications. This was the worst I have ever seen. I am learning about solar for personal and business reasons. The text that precedes this by the same author was OK but so brief and inadequate. I am currently reading the "Dummies" publication for photovoltaic systems which is excellent AND comprehensive. 1 star was too much. ... show more
