You are better off charging your Nest Cam the old fashioned way. When the camera is plugged into this, it stops working working after a few days and has to get a hard reset. After this happened a few times, I tried unplugging the camera from this solar panel, and lo and behold, the camera works perfectly. So I thought I'll just remember to plug the solar panel in when the battery gets low. But it won't charge any higher than 67 percent. This thing is just a piece of garbage. ... show more

Of the three that were purchased, I got one panel that would not charge the Nest Camera, which i had to do a return/exchange. The other 2 panels worked excellent. Wish I didn't have to do a return, but such is life. Other that the defective panel they appear to be of a good quality, the mount is an alloy, but the frame is plastic, which is not what the description states. I hope these will last through the ever changing weather. Did I get the correct panel????? ... show more
