This sure beats having to run wire, and it gives you the versatility to use it with pretty much any vehicle or trailer. That means you can also easily use it with a borrowed or rented vehicle. The pic quality is good. If you encounter interference, just experiment with positioning (that's something you might encounter with any wireless product, not specific to this one). The solar charging works fine. As with any solar panel, it is dependent on good sun exposure, so plan accordingly. (You can pivot that assembly and adjust it as needed.) One question I had when I first saw this was, "Will it stay mounted just with the magnets?" I was afraid something like this might not hold on over railroad tracks, bumpy roads, etc. So here is your answer: this thing has some SERIOUSLY powerful magnets. It is NOT coming off on its own, period. Now, it is relatively easy for the average person to move it, but otherwise, no road conditions are going to ever be a problem, believe me. I really like this unit. Build quality is VERY good. The rear camera, solar panel, and magnetic assembly are FIRST CLASS all the way. The monitor unit is good, too. I think, for the price, this is a no-brainer, and I will be giving this lots of use. Highly recommended.

Very short battery life. Less than 2 hours run time. Solar doesn’t extend run time at all. A waste of money and time.

The only thing that really worked well on this camera system are the magnets that hold the camera to the vehicle. The signal strength between the camera and the monitor is very bad, it gets even worse when you start driving making it unusable. With the solar panel being in direct sunlight it was not enough to keep the camera charged throughout the day. Disappointed to say the least.

So -- overall the monitor and camera are great - However the solar does not fully keep up with the power consumption of the camera,, it HELPS- it assists the batteries that you have to charge. But overall in about 4 hours of use the camera dies... you have to charge it on cable.. So - overall is a "meh" device. Its ok for me - as im using it on skid steer tractor.. but if you were driving long distance in a RV-- then is not the product to use

The fact that the camera is magnetic, battery operated, wireless, and can recharge itself via solar is awesome. Super simple to install. The one thing I noticed though is the picture quality, i.e. the signal strength, is not great. Any interference or significant blockers between the units will severely degrade picture quality. The video refresh rate is great, much better than other wireless cameras I have tried. However just hitting bumps seems to interfere with the video transmission signal if the receiver screen isn't in just the right place to receive the best signal. If I clip it right to the back of my vehicle its fine, but the extra distance and most likely all the aluminum in the campers frame is degrading the signal. I also realized part of my issue may be that one of the antenna screw bases was cracked when I received it, it will still plug in but I assume that is also contributing to the spotty signal.

This is tank quality. You can literally mount this to a tank and the solid mass would be the same aas the armor plating. I would think. Never had a tank in my garage. But if I did this woould be my go to for wireless vision. NVG is military grade also in my opinion and is very easy to install just power and you're good to go. Instant hook up and capture mode

You know, it's a simple design but a great design, magnetic where you can stick it on the back, it's got solar panels to charge it and it sends you a clear, beautiful picture which makes everything so much easier to back up. I'm really glad I got it Nice thing about it as well. The instructions were clear and simple and easy to follow so you had no problem setting it up. Good job!
