I actually ended up buying two sets. The first set I installed as they arrived and I noticed the tops coming off after a day or two from the grass pushing up and my robot mower hitting them. I pulled them up and several of the spikes were not in the next shape, I have some pretty hard dirt in my yard. The second set i superglued the tops down. They are fantastic, I can still reach the on off switch. My driveway glows clearly in the dark making if easy to see where to drive, and they are solar powered. I wish they held together a bit better on their own but the work around had worked nicely for me. ... show more

For whatever reason, there is no lighting in my backyard. None. I do have hiring an electrician on my wish list, but in the mean time, I needed a solution. I bought one package at a sale price to try them. Amazing. I could see the spooky parts of my yard at night. So I bought two more packages and now it looks like I have professional landscape lighting. I do want to mention I live in one of the sunniest US states, so I have had no issues with a lack of sun powering them up. Then, Hurricane Idalia comes through and the lights were submerged for several hours. Tonight we have no electricity and the lights are all lit up! Like, are you kidding me? We’ve been using these for about a month now and they are bright. I have some just sitting on a rock border and they light the path well. I have a couple staked in the ground between some boulders and they are so bright that they provide up lighting. If they they turnoff- you just need to flip them around and switch on again. The package arrived and it looked like these were used. The lights were not tightly packed and the bases were not all with the individually wrapped lights. One of the lights does not work, even after being in the sun all day..... but I've already put them in the ground, so I'm not sure I can return them. I like the brightness of the 'Cool' lights - bright like a white LED light. Overall, they are probably worth it (reason for 4 stars), but I'm frustrated that one doesn't work. I'm OCD, so I have to remove one that does work, to make the flower beds even.... :) ... show more

I've purchased 2 packages of these lights...at different times. Both came packaged well and all worked upon receipt. The only challenge I am having is that the 1st set of lights I received (purchased during Prime Day) stay lit for ~3-4 hours LESS than the 2nd set of the same lights which I purchased several weeks later. Will follow up with the vendor, if I can figure out how to. ... show more

I purchased 8 of these to place under 4 of my trees. They look fantastic and glow very bright. Unfortunately they don't stay super charged for very long. They begin to dim and often turn off around 6 hours.
