Cool as a cucumber!!! I love how the fans are adjustable and you can wear them blowing on your face or on the back of your neck. The fans aren't even that loud, you can wear headphones and hear the music playing. The hat being oversized keeps the sun out of your face and your neck cool.     • Not what I expected at all.
Let’s start the list of why I don’t like it. A) didn’t come with any instructions. There is a toggle/slider switch, no idea what it’s for until I looked at other listings. I don’t think it even works for what it does for the others. B) solar doesn’t work at all, fans don’t move even when in full sun. C) batteries DoNot last 4-6 hours per the listing. I got one hour on the low setting and then thought the solar would kick in, nope. D). The size of the hat. I wear a large/ 7 3/8” / 59cm hat. This hat is snug. E). The sweat band is not absorbent at all. It just a smooth nylon that is actually quite course at the edges. Not only does it not absorb sweat but it actually cuts into your forehead skin. I put on a bandana but that only made the hat too snug. In conclusion, I don’t like it, it’s not perfect advertised. I will be returning this thing and getting a different one that has much better reviews, instructions for the functionality of the fans, cotton or some kind of absorbent looking sweatband and that the solar appears to actually work somewhat according to numerous reviewers. ... show more

This solar fan hat is everything! I only tried it on with the fans going for a few minutes and I love it. If the fans lives up to the battery expectancy, this hat will get the credit for me being able to sit outside in Mississippi for my family reunion this weekend.     • Snug fit for a man.
Cool concept. Hat came broken and didn’t fit my husbands head very well anyways. It was almost a bit snug on me and I’m a small lady. Anyways one of the fans was crushed so it was making an awful noise but I feel if we got one that was working well and maybe a bit bigger it would be perfect.

Total garbage. My wife ordered this for me for Father's Day. When it arrived several of the cage pieces around the blades were broke. Didn't see to cause any issues so I went with it. About 30 min into my mow one of the cage pieces broke and stopped the blades. Ordered a new one and it arrived broke as well. Wouldn't order this product EVER!!! ... show more

This is a clever idea for anyone who spends a lot of time outdoors. The dual fans put out an impressive amount of airflow, and with three speed settings they really help keep you cooler while working in the heat. My husband wore it outside all day in 90°+ weather and thought it made a noticeable difference. There are a couple of things that kept it from being a full five stars. The side snaps are a bit confusing because if you snap the brim up, the fans have to be removed first. Since the fans are the main reason to buy the hat, those snaps don’t seem very practical. It also uses an older-style charging port, although it does include two charging cables. The cables are extremely short, which limits where you can conveniently charge the fans. Longer cables would have been a nice improvement. One concern is durability. By the end of the first day, we noticed some of the plastic around one of the fans had developed small cracks, even though the hat wasn’t dropped or handled roughly. Hopefully it’s just cosmetic and doesn’t affect how long the fans last. Overall, it’s a unique and effective cooling hat with surprisingly powerful fans. If the charging setup and fan durability were improved, it would easily earn five stars. ... show more
