This puppy food is great for our large breed dog, but I would recommend listening more to your vet than the bag for feeding amounts. Out vet recommended less food to be given than the bag recommends, so you will want to make sure that you are not over feeding. My puppy eats this food dry. She absolutely loves this food! I highly recommend it! We tried other foods, but this is the only one she devours and looks for more. Never any stool issues! Love it!

The GSDs love the food, and we have strong healthy pups. They grew alot bigger than the other GSDs in the family that are on another food. Only complaint is the price, 2 GSDs can get quite expensive.

Hey all, quick shoutout to the packaging team. The resealable bag is clutch for keeping kibble fresh day to day. Product team, stellar work. This food smells surprisingly good out of the bag. I was half-tempted to try a kibble myself because it reminded me of KFC. I switched from Purina Pro Puppy after my pup started turning his nose up at it. With Hill’s Science Diet Large Breed Puppy Chicken & Brown Rice, he cleans the bowl and comes back looking for more. I was worried about his growth before. Now I feel a lot better seeing steady appetite and energy. One request for the formulation team. Large breed puppies need consistent omega-3s, especially DHA, for brain and vision development. If the DHA and overall omega-3 content could be bumped up or communicated more clearly on the bag, it would help owners like me rely on this as an all-in-one without adding separate supplements. Overall I highly recommend this food for anyone with a puppy. It is a bit pricey. A more competitive price would make it accessible to more pet parents.
