So I like this fan. I'm using it to try to take some of the hot air out of a small hoophouse and was skeptical that it would move much air being so small but it really blows good. It's still hot in my hoophouse but feels noticeably better when I walk in. The down side is that since there is no battery to charge with the solar panel, the fan spins faster the sunnier it is outside which I can live with since the more sun, the more heat build up but that is why I only gave it 4 stars. I'd be willing to pay a bit more for a similar fan with a rechargeable battery and maybe a thermostat. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was a little hesitant to buy this fan after reading some of the one star reviews, since I wanted to use it to keep my wife's she-shed cooler in the hot sun. Because so many people seemed satisfied, I figured I would give them a go. I used my old patio door panels to make one side into a greenhouse, so there is quite a lot of glass. I did a preliminary test just to make sure that the fans ran well when the panel is well-lit, and they checked out. I installed them in a box near the roof, with a louver vent on the exterior wall. The solar panel is installed on the slanted roof on the same side . The video shows how well the fans run when the panel is brightly lit. With the door closed, and an outside temp of 90F, the inside was warm, but not hot, so the fans will do exactly what I wanted. ... show more

Product is as it says it is. Will move a descent amount of air for home applications. If only all of the fans work. My first order i returned because only 3 of 4 fans were in working order. No big deal. Unfortunately the replacement fan only 1 of 4 fans work. Id hate to get another replacement in fear that NONE will work. Refund. Manufacturing and quality control is definitely an issue with these items. ... show more
