Bought a pre-built shed. It's summer and it's hot in there. Installed these exhaust fans and they seem to help moving air around in there. I can't say that they make it any cooler but I do like the idea that the hot air up there is being moved out and replaced with fresh cooler air. Set up was easy. The wires to the motors are really long so I was able to hide them in the rafters. Installing the solar panel was super easy. Best quality for the price. Put it in our greenhouse and it works great all hours of the day. I dont notice the noise at all. Runs off of Solar Panels and has a backup battery. Easy to use, easy to setup. Powers on easily, and maintains a good charge. I would have said it was perfect but it is solar. As with all things solar, haze covered skies and or a cloud covered sun, there may difficulties to maintain the energy. ... show more

We have several silkies and a few regular hens. The hens have been bullying our silkies into hiding under their coop. It gets warm under there so I bought this fan. I mounted it on the outside of the hardware cloth of their enclosure down low to blow under the coop. They LOVE it. They will all take turns in front of it or on really hot days, they kind of all just sit together in front of it. It's adorable. It's not too loud and seems to function exactly as it should.
