Parts were clearly labelled but the directions are done via diagram, so if you are a person who needs written step by step instructions, it may be a bit of a challenge. My husband and I were searching for something to block the afternoon and evening sun on our deck. It gets so hot that we can’t use the area in the summer. The Sojag Portland 10x16 gazebo was the perfect solution. It is very well made and went together smoothly. The two of us put it together over two days. No missing parts and every thing lined up very well. We also had a few heavy rain storms this week and not a single drop of water leaked from the roof. Leaks real bad. If it rains at all it leaks in multiple places underneath it. Do not try and sit under it while raining you will get soaked. The original seal is a brush on the panels. I like the shade and sturdiness of the unit. Finally fixed the leaks when I got time to take the panels down, took out the brush and used silicone seal on all the top side where the panels slid into the sides. I put up one panel, used caulk gun with the seal and sealed both sides with lots of seal. I then put in another panel and sealed the next one. The media could not be loaded. Product leaks like crazy.... cheap panels very thin and screws are so small the barely hold the panels down of it wasn't so bulky I would have sent it back. Don't waste your money

An 8 x 12 size was difficult to find as most gazebos with metal roofs are 10 x 12. We are glad to find this as it fits our existing concrete patio slab and the roof-line does not impact the existing supports to our upper deck. [] Directions: Accurate but not well-written at all. Study them. [] Assembly: Two people to install roof, one person for the rest. Parts labeled and some hardware spares. I think you will want your own tools, electric drill with attachments for fittings; that kind of stuff. [] Stability: We’ve had some storms and winds and the unit exceeded our expectations on stability; not a creak. However, our gazebo space is somewhat protected by the house and terrain lay out – not situated out in the open somewhere. [] Roof leakage/drainage: No leaks; however, our unit is placed under an existing upper deck. Hence, a lighter indirect rain falls through to the gazebo roof below. Still, we did have one mega rainstorm with lots of water hitting the roof and still no drips or leaks. Water drains toward the front as expected. [] Delivery/Packaging: We had no problems. The manufacturer packed the unit appropriately and we had a fantastic shipper. Two heavy boxes. Instead of carrying the boxes (not happening) we unpacked them and moved the contents to the work area. [] Curtains/Bug Screens: Separate tracks for each. Fabric and zippers nice. Has 4 tie backs with Velcro securing. [] Summary: Very happy with the quality and price. It isn’t the biggest space (cozy for 4) but we now have a previously unused space that offers us privacy and relaxation, rain or shine. Thank you for reading. ... show more

Easy to put together. 2 people about 6 hours. Pictures for directions which was great for us. We have a high wind area and it's actually very heavy. Two people can move it fairly easily after assembled. Color is great. 10x14 over our 12x14 patio. We would love to get another one for the other side as well. ... show more

Love it til it rains and every panel leaks, I’m gonna put another layer of real tin over it. Also the heat under it in midsummer is unbearable without a fun under it. This is my 4th summer with it and it is holding up well.
