The bed is quite sturdy. The recommended max weight is 150lb but i'm able to get on there with my daughter and i'm 160lbs. The slide is sturdy as well and I have no worries with her going up amd down. I purchased a 10" twin mattress which is too high and defeats the purpose of the side rails and also adds to the drop on the slide which she says hurts so look into something smaller. The underside stores her toys and helps out when placing a bed in a smaller room. We also store her books under the stairs. The bed has two mounting slots for the slide so you can choose either side and the empty side can be used for sitting which my daughter likes to dangle her feet over the emtpy side instead of over the rail. I love the thickness of the stairs since my daughter is 5 I have no worries with her climbing down late at night to use the restroom which was a major concern with the other beds that have ladders instead. Assembly took about an hour give or take and the instructions were easy to follow just be sure to read and look at the images closely. Couple pieces of wood were chipped/cracked, hoping that doesnt affect the integrity of the bed as it would have been a pain to return entire thing. Overall pretty happy, seems sturdy, check back with me in 6mos 😆

It took over an hour to assemble, would be helpful to have two adults building it. It seems very sturdy. The loft height is not too high, it’s perfect for my 4 year old. A twin bedding set and mattress fits on it great. My daughter uses the slide on the daily and so far it’s holding up! You CAN move the side the slide is on, but can not move the side the stairs are on. ... show more

This bed set allows for quite a bit of storage underneath so the child can have a little play room underneath or a reading area underneath and it can be set up with all kinds a little pillows and things that the child would like. The difficult part of this bed is that when you’re trying to make it because it’s up against a wall and it won’t support an adults weight. The slide is small to accommodate small rooms. Very cool bed. My 4-year-old son loves it. The instructions were pretty straight forward for assembly. Some parts had damage as shown in photos. Overall, good for the price.

So we loved the bed for our 7 yr old son! The only issue is that the slide is incredibly fast/slippery. The kids get hurt easily on it from how fast it is & easy it is to slide off the edge. My 7 yr old once tried to go down it. He sat on the edge of the mattress at the top of the slide & when he slowly tried to go down, he just slide so fast he tried to stop & cut his neck on the edge of the mattress barrier. So although we love everything about the bed, I wish we didn’t get the slide. Luckily we can take it off lol ... show more
