Solid, attractive bed frame with easy assembly and a supportive mattress

I purchased the Full Size Softa solid wood bed frame with the 10-inch mattress for my apartment in New York. I chose this set because I wanted something durable enough for nearly two years of use, easy enough to assemble by myself, and nicer-looking than a basic temporary metal frame. Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase. The bed frame is made of solid wood and feels very sturdy once assembled. There is little to no movement, and it also looks quite nice in the room. Assembly itself is straightforward, and the official installation video was helpful. It took me about one hour to finish by myself. The main difficulty I had was that one of the pre-installed screws on a metal connector had been tightened too much, which made one wooden piece difficult to align. After I loosened the screw slightly with a power drill, everything fit properly. Other than that, assembly was simple. The frame is somewhat heavy, as expected for solid wood, but I can still move it slightly when cleaning the floor. The 10-inch mattress is on the firmer side and provides good support. I prefer this because it does not sink deeply like some all-memory-foam mattresses. One issue I noticed was that the center of the mattress was initially higher than the edges, which made the sleeping surface feel slightly uneven. After about two weeks of use, it has become noticeably flatter and is now much more comfortable, although I think this is something the manufacturer could improve. There was also some new-furniture and packaging odor after opening the frame and mattress. If possible, I would recommend allowing them to air out with the windows open for a day or two before use. In my case, the odor faded quickly, and by around the fifth day I no longer noticed any discomfort. Overall, this is a solid and practical choice if you want a sturdy wood bed frame with a supportive, firmer mattress for longer-term use.

Really happy with this bed frame! The solid wood feels sturdy and well made, and I love the simple, clean design—it looks great without being too bulky. The mattress is also surprisingly comfortable, with a nice balance of softness and support. What impressed me most was how easy it was to assemble and disassemble. Beautiful solid wood bed frame — warm, sturdy and looks even better in person

I’m really happy with this bed frame. I specifically wanted a solid wood bed because most of the furniture in my room has a natural wood tone, and this one fits the space beautifully. The wood color is warm and natural, and the design feels simple but still has a lot of character. I especially like the headboard — it gives the room a cozy, slightly rustic look without feeling too heavy. Once I added my bedding and bedside furniture, everything looked very cohesive. The frame also feels sturdy and well made after assembly. It gives the room a much warmer and more comfortable feeling compared with metal or upholstered beds I considered before. Overall, I really like the appearance and quality of the bed. If you like natural wood furniture or a warm, cozy bedroom style, I would definitely recommend it.

Slats are at 3.5 inch spacing which is not optimal.

This is a very nice bed frame with an ingenious method of assembly. Its flaw lies in its slats. They went with a 3.5 inch slat spacing which is too wide for most latex or air mattresses which require a 2.5 - 3.0 inch spacing. On my queen sized frame, they used twelve 2 3/4 inch slats. In order to get less than a 3 inch spacing which my latex mattress requires, I had to add 2 slats which I grabbed at Lowes as chunks of 1x4. In order to incorporate this into the existing slat system, I had to remove all of the staples from the velcro and re-staple the velcro at the new spacing and to the new slats. This was a very time consuming process. Technically this is optional since you can manually place the slats at whatever spacing you want but this makes it easier to get the spacing proper in the same way that it was intended. The other option was to get a bunkie board but this was the cheaper option which I decided to try first. Taking this apart really requires reversing the installation instructions. I made a mistake in assembly of the headboard (reversed it) which then required disassembling the whole bed and reassembling. The good news is that it's quick and requires no tools. It would have been easier with a second person but it's not required.

Not worth it.

Do not buy. This item does not fit together like it is supposed to. Many of the metal parts would not fully slide into place-we couldn’t get the top part of the headboard together at all. The parts we could get together were squeaky and wobbly. I am attempting to return it and it seems to be a nightmare even though it was a Prime buy, very unhappy.
