It is a surprisingly soft rope, if that's what you're looking for. The core of the rope compresses easily which gives the rope more stretch than I would like. While it is strong enough to use for its suggested uses of crafts, knot tying and camping, I would not use it to secure anything in the back of a truck or trailer. I thought this would be a good set of ropes to practice knot tying. The listing says that it holds knots well. I agree but maybe it holds them too well. As I mentioned earlier, the core is easily compressed and the rope has some stretch to it. When a knot is tightened, that compression adds internal pressure into the knot. So even knots that should be easy to untie become more difficult. So, yes, it can be used to practice knot tying just don't overtighten it. This rope could have many uses on a campout. It would make a nice clothes line or could be used as a guy wire for a tent/canopy in a pinch. I wouldn't use it for hanging a bear bag or anything heavy like that. The weight of the bear bag and the abrasive tree-bark would eat up the rope while hoisting the bag and severely degrade the rope's strength. Some reviewers mention that it is machine washable but I cannot fine anywhere in the listing where that is stated. I've never once felt the need to wash a rope so I don't see this as a limitation. If it did get wet, I expect that it would take a while to dry given how absorbent the core is. This is not a bad set of ropes if you stick to the intended uses.

I found myself using these more than I had anticipated. I put one in my truck and have used it to secure cargo. I have one in my shed and have used that to tie down a faulty door until I could repair it and I have one in my garage that I use for many things. A great pack of quality rope.

Definitely a solid rope that can be used for a multitude of things. I would keep it more hobby related and not rely on for any kind of real strain. Flower pots, bedroom play, other crafts would all be great for. It is pretty soft so dont have to worry about it really damaging or scratching up furniture. The price is probably higher than what you can get at local large box crafts store but saves the trip and isnt too over the top. If in the market for some hobbiest type rope and dont want to head into the store or its too far away this is great option.

I got the two black + 1 red bundle. These caught my eye specifically because I frequently make use of small bits of rope especially when camping. I've cut up enough other pieces of rope, and wanted something fresh and clean in small segments - these seemed to fit the bill. And they do! They ARE soft to the touch and they do match the listed dimensions. But, be aware these really do not seem like a "cotton" rope at all, they are some sort of plastic. They have a moderate amount of stretch in them, but seem to reach a hard limit where the "stretch" stops. Overall, I'm finding these pretty handy for my intended purpose - keeping tucked away in the car for those random unplanned cases where I could use a little rope to help secure something. For that, I think these are perfect!

TRUE: The measurement advertised are consistent with the rope we reviewed. The rope is cotton coated with some synthetic cord inside. Claim: ECO-FRIENDLY MATERIAL -- Soft to touch, durable and firm. It's very sturdy and also doesn't fade. Washing machine safe. The rope has a little bit of stretch to it and holds knots well. TRUE: The rope is soft to the touch and seems durable. It can be washed in a a machine and does hold knots well. It does have some stretch or give. Claim: UNIQUE COLOR -- The twine yellow color. TRUE. The color is Yellow. It is a nice shade. I do not know if it is popular or unique, but it is similar to the shown image. Claim: EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE -- Our cotton rope features a three-strand twisted cord, giving it flexibility and strength and making it easier to undo knots and help for consistency . TRUE. This rope does tie and untie well and does perform all required functions of a rope. Claim: MULTIFUNCTION - TRUE. It can rope like all other rope can rope. Summary: At the time of this review this rope was being sold for $15.99 for approximately 32ft of rope making it roughly $.50 per foot of rope. A quick search on Amazon shows this to be about 2 to 3 times more expensive than similar products. there was no quality or feature improvement that justified this price increase, so we found this product to be a poor value for consumers at this price. While it performed well and was of good quality it is just too expensive per foot.
