Pleasantly surprised to find the seating was firm, and sturdy. The fabric is a little on the rough side, but not uncomfortable. The unit comes in two boxes, the packaging is clever, and the assembly instructions are OK; the spring-loaded slide-out bed part can snap your fingers, so be careful, and the cushions are vacuum-packed, so they need time to expand. The chaise storage is ample, the under-bed one is a little shallow, but enough for blankets, etc. The USB ports have wires that come out the bottom back of the arm ends, with two separate power-packs to plug them into standard outlets; have not tried them yet. - UPDATE - had to move the sofa to a new location, which required changing the orientation - saved the Allen wrench, so it took a mere 5mins to swap the chaise for the bed, and because I moved the unit, I was able to plug in the USB ports - they glow blue, which contrasts the green fabric, but they do work - and I did not know about the in-arm storage - bonus~! LOVE this couch. It’s not huge, on the smaller side but that’s exactly what I needed as I have a smaller living room. The extra storage is amazing and to me it’s very comfortable and sturdy. Update: Company responded back to my review and made a concession for the minor assembly quality assurance issues I experienced so I have updated to four stars for the responsive customer service. Pros: Looks nice and expensive from a distance. Definitely great for movie or TV viewing Very nice and wide. If you are tall or a larger person, you will appreciate this Stiff and doesn't sag like most other chairs I have purchased. Some may not like the stiffness, but I do. I like the options to move back part of chair into three different functionalities, however I would use it sparingly as I can see that breaking relatively easy if used often (you have to bring it all the way up each time to 'reset' The pull-out rest stool is nice, and has a small storage area Not too many parts to have to put together The cupholder is a nice touch. USB is nice, but I'd be careful to not have plugged in items pull on it, as again it could break easily, but is replaceable according to the company. Cons: Back is short so may not have the most support if you are a taller person Instructions were sparse and not the best, but not too difficult since there aren't too many parts to have to put together Quality assurance wasn't that good on pre-drilled holes and some of the lining up of pre-drilled holes wasn't that good on the base and had to screw a few in at a slight angle to get the chair put together. One of the holes to connect the chair base to the chair sides wasn't drilled correctly, so was only able to put in two out of the three screws required. Similar issue on other side was fabric was put over holes of where you would need to drill so I had to make my own holes through fabric to put the screw through. I bought this chair to give me more room in my spare bedroom. Replaced a twin size bed that was rarely used. It came well packaged. Was fairly easy to assemble, looks great and takes up less space than a bed. Not recommended to use on a daily basis, but works well for us, because it is only used occasionally. Assembly was pretty difficult as the instructions were confusing, and some parts were labeled incorrectly. It was missing some parts for assembly, we had to go to the hardware store to get some pieces. I like the USB charger feature and chaise storage. I will update on the comfort as cushions were vacuum sealed and require 72 hours for them to go to its normal size. The material and color are nice. ... show more

Its a quality piece. Easy to put together with strong bolts. It looks great open or closed and very easy to open. Its firm and I like that. My grandaughter is thrilled to sleep on it. Well worth the price for faux leather, it doesn't get dirty or catch dog hsir. Love it

Here's my honest real life experience review. BACK TO SENDER. Please DO NOT BUY this couch, find another one, look elsewhere. Learn from my mistake, pay a little extra so you do not make the same mistake I made; you've been warned. The biggest mistake I made was purchasing this couch and purchasing from this seller. DURASPACE customer service is horrible, they are extremely rude and should have never been allowed to sell on Amazon. This couch comes in 2 big boxes. Each box came extremely late and you need both together to set up the couch. After the package has been late for several days beyond the delivery date, it was missing the whole right side of the arm rest panel which also serves as a leg support for it. It was useless. At that point I realize, I am done, I don't want to waste anymore time with this couch. So, I took it apart and boxed it. Contacting customer service was a nightmare and it's not worth it at all. I did not get to sit on the couch because it did not come complete but I noticed the cushions are really thin, it did not seem like something that will last more than 6 months.
