Works great supports charging while in use (If you attach USB power) good level of magnetic grip. I have a big monitor and most of these types of devices only work on laptop screens. This works great on my big screen, and can be used stand alone as well. Overall great design. I bought this mount as my iPhone has a much better camera than my intel iMac. When used with my phone, all the functionality (center stage, zoom, etc) comes into play and I have a far more customizable camera than the facetime camera on the iMac. Often, I use it on my desk as a charging station for my iPhone and it keeps it at the right height. Solid materials that will not tip over or move while you're using it. I'd highly recommend this for someone looking for a solid and functional mount.

Straight into it...I like it and think it's really good. The build is super solid. I thought that the Apple MagSafe charger would not be strong enough to really hold when the puck was swapped out, but it is. Really easy to configure in that way. Sturdy position on top of an external monitor and no worries of falling off. What would make it better IMO? Most camera mounts have threads at the bottom to be able to place on top of stand/tripod. In my case, I wished it did. I run dual 27" monitors and there is no way to angle the holder. It will sit square on top, which means I am limited in the angle I can get with it. It would be great if it some type of a small swivel built into the head or would allow me to put it on a stand behind my monitor setup. Again though, overall really nice product and well built.

I think this thing may be the most solidly built, non “name-brand” product I’ve ever purchased on Amazon. I’ve been using the “official” belkin mount from the Apple Store at home for the last year or so and needed an extra for the office. Saw the reviews for this one and gave it a shot. I’m now purchasing another of these to replace the belkin one at home. The build quality is great and it’s a true multi-tasker. I’m not sure why they don’t advertise this clearly (or maybe I missed it) but it lets you swap the magnetic puck it comes with with an Apple MagSafe charger so you can charge wirelessly while it’s mounted. Great purchase.

I have been using this for a few weeks now. I have it attached to a monitor light bar and it's all very sturdy. It has a great weight, feels solid, and the tilt function stays in place. I couldn't be happier. I have gone through goosenecks, clamps, and other mounts. This one looks the nicest and feels like it's made well. I would not recommend it if you need to pan the camera left and right, but it is great for vertical tilt.

While this product seems like the best MagSafe solution for continuity camera it has some faults that warrant a three star rating. The materials used seems nice at first but the rubber that is supposed to protect your iMac screen wasn’t glued down on mine and there is no rubber on the piece that attaches to your MacBook so I would never try to use it that way. I’d suggest only using the iMac way of attaching on your MacBook to prevent screen scratches. The pivot point that attaches the round piece to the support piece is loose and it is hard to feel confident the phone won’t angle up during conference/video call. QC for these is lacking if that part is supposed to be stiff. No way to tighten it either. It will work but not the quality you might think.
