    • It's a bottle!!
Well the reason I ordered these is because I needed them. I originally thought "I'll just go to the local bimart and buy a new one". Wel let me tell you that the powers that be at soda stream changed the design of the soda stream. The new bottles do not work on the old soda streams, they are to tall. Job security and a new way to guaranty that you have to buy a new soda stream, even though the old one works just fine, because someone in marketing got a wild hair up their behind and thought " hey I know how to both make more money and screw with people " ... show more

Received a pack of 2 bottles for the price, which was great. Those bottle fits my old Soda Stream machine perfectly too, and look to be the genuine ones. Although, for some people expecting to receive "blank" bottle like some of the photos shows here, those comes with the "Soda Stream" logo on it. However, everything is written very small, and barely noticeable. Which actually is a bit annoying, because it's hard now to see the "max fill up" line on the bottle.     • These fit the original Soda Stream
I was extremely happy that these fit our machine. We have, what I believe to be, one of the original soda stream machines. Seriously, do NOT put them in the dishwasher. That is why I have to keep ordering more is because I throw them in the dishwasher "for just a little while" to get the hot water and soap (which I feel is better than handwashing) but I ALWAYS forget about them and then they go through the heated drying cycle and come out looking like Shrinkydinks (yes I'm a child of the 80s). ... show more

    • Bottle good but Soda Stream is worthless
The bottles to Soda Stream are decent but the machine itself is nearly worthless. More CO2 escapes from the machine than goes into the bottle due to a bad design where the bottle attaches to the CO2 dispenser; consequently, you cannot put a lot of CO2 in the bottle. My dispenser won't even get to the low pressure setting before the CO2 begins spewing over the bottle rim. It's a piece of junk. Pressurized bottles are a very low technology, so why Soda Stream can't design something better than this is evidence of not caring at all. The bottles were not expensive. You should not have to pay more than about six buck for one of these bottles. I have since acquired a 1,000 lb. per square inch CO2 tank, to which I attached a regulator to reduce the pressure of the dispenser to about 36 lbs. I now make bottled carbonated water for less than two cents a bottle, maybe even less, as opposed to SodaStream's 70 cents a bottle. It's so cheap there is no need to figure the savings.     • Sodastream is the way to go
For 99-cents worth of distilled water (my preferred) you can fill 4 of these bottles with really good seltzer/fizz water. That's 4 liters of good water for a little more than a dollar. Not $1-1.59 each. I like to pressurize the bottles 4 times to give them really good fizz. These bottles are reusable many times, but don't put them in the dishwasher - too hot. ... show more

    • Fit the older model
I needed bottles that fit the old model of soda stream and these were cheap and work perfect. To the people who are complaining that the writing on the bottles is in Hebrew: the Soda stream company is from Israel. Their stuff is manufactured there. I don’t see what the big deal is.
