Usually I wait for at least 4-5 months before rating something like this just to give good impressions on how they work, and not just how they looked coming out of the box (which is idiotic - everybody - don't do that). They look and feel identical to my black pair of these exact shoes - so I can attest to the quality and durability of these shoes. I blew out my pair of brown dockers, so I got a pair of these. Right out of the box, they felt good - virtually zero break-in time. I've been wearing them for 2 weeks, and I am wondering why I did not get a brown pair a year ago. My pair of Clark's Men's Tilden Oxford shoe, black, arrived promptly in a new unblemished box. I tried then on. They felt great although by design the toe box narrows. They have a anti-slip rubber sole. They are real leather outside and are fully lined in the softest real leather inside. And affordably priced. Each shoe has a clever and practical design feature. It is a 1 inch A shaped expansion slit. The slit begins about a half inch below the first shoe lace eyelet. The slit is held closed by a strip of strong elastic. A man who has a high arch can enjoy a great fit as the slit opens to comfortably make room for the high arch. Yet the eyelets remain in line. The shoe looks looks and feels great! Right out of the box I aplied leather conditioner and buffed the shoes too a high gloss. Great design. Quality leather. Fine workmanship make a fine shoe. Clark's Men's Shoes are this... Looks, comfort, fit, and price. This was a winning arrangement. I don’t wear slacks, shirt and tie daily, like I used too. After years of working in jeans, I changed jobs and needed to dress up occasionally. I was looking for a pair of dress shoes that would be comfortable and fit well for all day wear. It was important that they also looked good in a professional environment. These shoes did all that for a very decent price. Out of the box, I was impressed with their looks; obviously made very well and looked like they belonged with a suit and tie in an office setting. I was very impressed with the looks. The size appears to be spot on, order your regular shoe size, you’ll probably be ok. I’ve only worn these once or twice (I bought them for occasional wear!), but they are very comfortable in an office or driving. Size: 11 EE - Wide Color: Black Leather
I'm not easy to fit. I send back more pairs of shoes than I keep because I have wide feet. Some shoes labeled EE are far too right, so I try to find size EEE. These EE-width shoes fit fine. They're extremely comfortable and easy to walk in. I can wear them all day without feeling confined or constrained. I haven't tried wearing them on long walks, but I did wear them walking three-plus miles over the course of a day among my hotel, conference site, restaurants, and Metro station. They're not glitzy (plain toe versus my usual wing tip), but they're handsome and classic looking. And a great value as well. I plan to wear these shoes for years. ... show more

With many other dress shoes, namely Bostonians, my feet ache after a full day of wear. With these, it feels almost as if my eyes were closed this entire time. These shoes feel amazing after a day's wear, and I almost forgot they were on. I have gotten many compliments for the wonderful looks of these shoes, and I even decided to purchase a pair in black. Both pairs are durable and look amazing. Would recommend. Edit after one year: I can’t believe it’s been a year since I bought these! They still feel great, and look brand new aside from some scuffs that are totally my fault. These shoes are certainly durable for regular use. I ordered a brown pair for a wedding last year, and I ordered about 10 different brands in a variety of sizes. (I apologize to my mailman.) I’m a true 10.5 wide, and these were the most comfortable of all the brand and size combinations I ordered. Then, I had to go to another wedding this year, but needed a black pair. So I ordered these again, in several sizes, and the 10.5W fit perfectly again! They are great for all day way, and for being on your feet all day.
