I recently picked this up on a lightning deal and am glad I did. I've had the OXO for a while, and love it. Such a simple solution and makes handwashing stuff super simple. Wanted another for another sink, but didn't want to pay OXO money. This fit the bill and for the price, I figured I couldn't lose. I was right. This one works just as well, and in fact came with a replacement pump tube (and a sponge fwiw). Sure the OXO looks a little more lux, but honestly, who really cares if it works well! A general note for anyone who hasn't tried one of these. I've had a number of "solutions" for storing a hand-washing sponge at the sink, including a tip-out behind the false drawer front (clever, but gets super gross and moldy if you don't remember to clean it regularly, and depending on what your cabinets and drawer fronts are made from, generally adds wetness to the wood or MDF or whatever, which is never a good thing), on the counter brush/soap dispenser/ sponge rack things, suction cup's that don't suck in the good way, etc. All of them have drawbacks. They all take up too much space, make a mess, fall over, look cluttered, etc. But this thing takes up barely any more room than the sponge and is pretty much self contained. It sits on the edge of the sink, catches the drips from the sponge, doesn't leak or drip like a pump dispenser, and is stupid easy to use one-handed. I keep a Scour Daddy sponge on it which works fantastic and stays cleaner and lasts longer than just about any other sponge I've used (in fact I just run those through the dishwasher when they get looking or smelling bad).

This is an overall good product. The plastic seems a little on the flimsy side, but so far it's held up to quite a few uses with no issues. The one thing I did not think about is, I used a container with a pump before, so it was easy to just pump out some soap and wash my hands while cooking. These however, because of the way they are built makes that complicated, I started by just removing the sponge and pushing down a with a little more force to get some soap on my hands. This is not very convenient, so I resorted to dumping all of the soap out into a new container with a pump and put it away. I have one very small kitchen counter so space is a huge deal. I don't have the luxury of having several permamant items because it will leave no room to prep, cook and serve food. If I did have more room, I would keep this item and a separate container for hand soap. So although I can't use this item because of my oversight with my limited counter space, I would recommend it if kitchen counter space is not something you have to worry about (and you also like to have handoap avaible to wash your hands in the kitchen.)

As long as you didn't get a lemon, it's cheap and it works. The amount dispensed is probably half of what you'd get from a normal hand soap dispenser. The sponge tray tilts to the back, probably to facilitate drainage. Not being level may annoy some people. Do not expect these things to last. The weak link is the pump, they will eventually clog with congealed dish soap and probably break when you press too hard.
