SUPER great storage for electronics and optics

We live on the "Big Island" of Hawaii with a volcano that has been SUPER active recently and over the last 30 years has been active far more than not. How does this relate to the Snapware boxes? Over the years (and MANY MANY dollars down the drain) we have learned that the humidity together with the VOG (that's volcanic smog - which is SUPER acidic) corrodes electronic connectors and components and will even cause mold to grow inside high-end (supposedly moisture sealed) optics. Snapware has provided an outstanding solution because they have so MANY different sizes. Simply find the box that is right for your purposes, put your electronics or camera gear in the box with a moisture absorbing material (silica gel pack), snap it shut and your gear is safe from the environment! NOTE: The latching tabs on the lids are somewhat fragile. If you drop one on a hard floor and it hits just right (or "wrong"), the tab will break off.

I bought some of these to store homemade dog food. They work really well and are reasonably priced. I have put hot food in them, put them in the fridge, the freezer, etc. They clean really easily and stack/store compactly. Great product overall.

These are great for the freezer. I use them for frozen fruit and lay them sideways so I can see what’s inside. You can write on the top with a marker, but if they’re stacked, you won’t see that.

I just ordered another set of these. I use them a lot. I have some others like it, but I like these better. I like the lids and how they go on. Easy to pop off too. You can see what's inside pretty good too. Great for prep food. I will now have 8 of each size. Would buy again if needed. Very sturdy too. I have other snapware containers which I also like.

Snap ware plastic containers freeze well and are leak proof. These 5.5 cup containers are the perfect size to freeze meals for myself or to take one to a friend who is homebound. I preferred to hand wash my plastics for longevity, and the shape of these make it very easy to keep clean. Very happy with this purchase and will probably purchase another size as well.
