  • A Convenient and Eco-Friendly Winter Solution
This cordless snow blower is compact, lightweight and easy to maneuver compared to my old gas-powered. I just used it after the first snow of this year, it does an excellent job of clearing moderate snow. The augers efficiently break up the snow and throw it away and the chute is adjustable to control where the snow goes. It is easy to start and does not need too much maintenance compared to my gas version. The only thing is if for a long driveway, I need to charge the battery then finish the rest. After all, it is a great option for me who don't want to involve too much maintenance and not for heavy snow. ... show more

  • Ease of use
Driveway is 22 ft wide down a medium grade for 70 feet. Needed a lite unit that would be able to be pushed up the sloop and also not run away going down. This product has worked and can cut through4-5 inches. Battery life is good formmynuae.

  • Works Great
I had to wait for a good snow to really give this thing a try. Needless to say I was a little skeptical about how well this snow blower would perform due to it being battery operated. We had about 3 inches of snow and I was dying to try it out. First you have to assemble it which took about 15 minutes and a Phillips head screwdriver. I put the 2 batteries in and cleaned the sidewalk first. Cleared it with no problem at all. You can adjust the snow throw to whichever side you need it to go. It throws the snow pretty decent. I then proceeded to my 2 car driveway. I was actually able to do it in about 15 minutes. Now I cannot speak about deeper snow but the speed it did it was fantastic. My batteries died right as I finished up. There were no clog ups and the overall performance was great. For the price you can't beat it. If we get a deeper snow I will try it again and update as needed. ... show more

  • Tackle the Winter's Worst
Just to give you some background, I own a Honda two-stage snowblower with tracks and a Toro single-stage, both gas-powered. To compare apples to apples, I'll compare this single-stage electric blower to my single-stage gas-powered blower. To start, it performs pretty much like my single-stage Toro, and like most any single-stage blowers. As long as you hit the snow while it's fresh and fluffy, this thing will do the job. This performs exactly like a single-stage gas-powered snowblower with plenty of power, so as long as you keep that in mind then this will work great for you. It's definitely replacing my Toro at this point, at least until those plastic impellers break or wear down. Pros: - The 40V electric engine delivers impressive power, allowing it to clear a path of 20 inches wide in one pass. This makes it ideal for handling heavy snowfall, significantly reducing the time and effort necessary to clear large areas. - The cordless design eliminates the hassle of managing a power cord in freezing conditions. The included 20V 5.0Ah batteries provide a significant run time and recharge quickly, ensuring you're never left waiting in the cold. - The discharge chute can be manually tilted up/down, and the crank moves it from left to right. It's plastic, so there's no worry about rust that gunks up the gears. Cons: - PLASTIC impellers. You have to be very gentle with this, and be mindful of juts, imperfections in your sidewalk, or hard objects like rocks. My Toro has hard rubber impellers that won't break but do wear down. The parts to replace the rubber impeller are cheap and very easy to find on Amazon. - Like any single-stage snow blower, this will struggle with deeper, wetter snow. If you're in an area that frequently experiences significant snowfall, you might need to make multiple passes or consider a more heavy-duty option. This is typical of single-stage snow blowers. - The machine is somewhat heavier than other models in the same category. While this contributes to its sturdy build and effective snow removal, it might make maneuvering a bit more challenging, especially in heavier snowfall. So, if you're the type who's too lazy to snow blow the snow while it was fluffy and waited until the next day when it was ice (Pfft, I never do that...), then only a two-stage blower with a metal impeller can break that ice up. You can try to break up the icy snow with this snowblower, but it's difficult and you run the risk of grinding down or even breaking the plastic impellers. ... show more

  • Looking forward conquering witner with my new snowblower
I have not had a chance to test this snowblower since it hasn't snowed yet in Ohio. However here are the pros and cons that I can tell you so far. Pros *It is lightweight and seems easy to maneuver. *Testing it out, it seems to have more power than I was expecting for an electric snowblower. I don't have any concern about it taking care of the average snowfalls we get here in Ohio. *Starting it up is a lot easier than a regular snowblower. I also like that it has built-in lights, so you can use it in the dark. * It wasn't too hard to put together. It probably took less than 30 minutes. Cons * My biggest and only hesitation is that the entire snowblower is made of hard plastic. This gives me some durability concerns and the longevity of it. I will update this review once I have had the chance to use it in the snow and can elaborate more on my concern about whether the durability is accurate. Right now, I feel confident that this is a good purchase and allow me to conquer winter with my new snowblower. ... show more

  • Impressive
Usually a gas machine guy but i also won't deny a good product. This snow blower is amazing. Throws snow just as far as my gas blower. It handles deep and heavy snow well obviously just like gas blowers it will struggle with certain snow condions. Batteries last long about 2 hours of runtime bit also charge relatively quick. Push button saftey works great and is a great feature. 10/10 recommend ... show more
