I love that each rail clamp has two machine screws (8 screws total for the 4 clamps ). Most other brands I looked at only have one, and some reviews of those brands complained of coming loose. These cross bars are extremely solid and aren't going anywhere! Each end of each bar has 2 screws that allow for minor length adjustment. Installation was very easy- maybe 20 minutes. I took this thing on a 24h road trip across the us with a big box on top and multiple suitcases and it held up excellent. It is sturdy and stays on as fast as you want to go and can hold a lot of weight if needed. It was easy to set up and has good quality materials. The value for the money is great. It’s a good price for good materials and good performance. It is a bit higher off the roof than I would have wanted it to be, because of it being high it made the box I have on top lift the car shot like a parachute and made it a little bumpy. It also gave me less gas mileage than it should because of that. But overall this is a great product for the money and you get what you pay for ... show more

    • Seems like they will do the job
I trade my cars yearly - Not knowing if I'd have my 24 Hyundai Palisade next year I didn't want to spend top dollar on the brand name bars. These installed easily and feel pretty solid. We're taking a road trip south this month and need to attach a cargo carrier to the roof. For that purpose, I think these will do the job. The covers over the locks are flimsy - I expect those to fall off. But! That won't compromise the bars grip so no worries there. Again, ya get what ya pay for! ... show more

Like everything about this purchase. Well designed, and built. Would recommend this product to anyone with a late model Hyundai Palisade. Has 1200 miles on it so far, and is in mint condition.

    • Well worth the $$ BUT...
UPDATED 8/23/22 Downgrading to 3 Stars (from 4) due to: One of the end cap (that covers the keyed lock on the ends of the racks) came off on the FIRST trip I took with it. Apparently they don't stay on very well because a 2nd one was loose as well. They do have a lanyard type mechanism so if that happens you don't lose the end cap but it still tore loose in transit, never to be seen again. - Way cheaper than OEM, Thule, Yakima, etc. - Have observed NO whistling sound like some people have - Seems sturdy, well made - Came with the right allen wrenches to attach it, and installation is fairly easy EXCEPT the directions are terrible AND no one tells you that they are slightly different lengths and the shorter one goes in the BACK. If not for the terrible directions it would have been 5 stars. ... show more

    • Defective clamp cover

The roof rack, itself, looks as expected, but one of the clamp covers wasn’t machined correctly and won’t lock. There’s an extra scrap of metal that prevents it from fitting into the lock on the clamp. This means that there’s no way to cover or lock that side.
