Pros: It comes setup right out of the box; just plug in and go. The separate massage, intensity, and heat features for the back and neck are great also. It's comfortable to sit in and gives a great massage. The "spot" feature is excellent. You can have the massage focus on particular areas when needed. The remote control is easy to operate and conveniently attached to the massager so it can't be lost. It also has a handy storage pocket so it can be kept out of the way. The free upgrade to a 3-yr warranty is also attractive (available if you register the product). Cons: A small "con" and by no means a deal-breaker. Shorter people (under 5'4") may have to make body adjustments for the neck and shoulder because it's made for taller folks. The user manual addresses this and suggests using a blanket to adjust height. I put mine in a recliner and was able to get things adjusted accurately without needing a blanket. Also, while the remote control pocket is a nice addition, it's a bit clumsy to navigate in a recliner. It will hang differently if one is in a chair, so this issue is more specific to my set-up and not a design flaw. Just something to watch out for if you plan to use it in a recliner. I decided to purchase the next model up to get the glutes, leg, and arm massage features, and because this model is adjustable down to accommodate people who are 5'2". I'm giving this one to a friend. Transparency: the manufacturer offers a neck & shoulder pillow if you leave a review, but they didn't influence the quality of the review. I used the massager three times so my review is based on a short-term experience, but it wasn't influenced by the gift of a $30 massager. I can't speak to the longevity of the massager, but having a 3 yr warranty makes it a decent purchase for the price I paid.

I love the lower back massage and heat/vibration. The upper back pressure is a little too strong so I put a towel over it to soften it. I'm only 5'3" so the neck massage doesn't reach where I need it so I move around one side at a time. But I imagine if you are 5'5" to 5'10" this would be perfect. Overall I am REALLY glad I bought it and it definitely helps with my sore back, hips and neck.

I was skeptical that a slip over office chair massager would work, but this massager exceeded my expectations and then some. The Shiatsu massage is strong and hit all the right spots as it rolls and the heat is very strong as well. This will make my works days much more tolerable now. Great product and price.

The Snailax Shiatsu Back Massager is bigger than thought, and they really should mention the proper heights of people for using it.... I am just around 5'6" - 5"7" and almost too short to reach the neck massage, which with the massaging balls is very difficult for any one with back issues to reach anyway......I have a slight hunch to my back due to illnesses and can not get my neck or head back far enough to reach it anyway, unless I lay back a bit in a recliner which then causes the massage balls to poke into my back..... The massage itself is great if you appreciate and enjoy the tough, knead it hard type of massages.....if you have any type of back issues with boneness watch out, them massage balls will bounce off the spine and can hurt...... Can't afford to send it back, if I could - I might........but the box is like a minature coffin in size...... I like those tough knead the muscle massages a bit so I will keeep it, but propective buyer beware.......hav the right size body and body type to really appreciate the pluses of this item - otherwise, move on to somehting different.....
