When I first received this, I didn't think I was going to like it. I was expecting a soft outer shell, and this one has the massaging gears setting farther out. But from the first day, I fell in love with it. The massage mechanisms hit just the right spot and the gentle heat is so soothing. Then, just when my back pain was easing, the massage mechanisms began rotating the other direction, easing other muscles I didn't know needed it. I'm hooked. Yes, there is a soft motor noise and some of the one, two, and three stars state. but it's soon becomes background, white noise and I have to think about it to realize it's there. I will happily trade the hum for the relief I receive. I was going to give this four stars because I had wanted a battery operated one to take on a plane. But they never advertize this as battery operated, and it's not fair for me to downgrade a review because of my buying something that isn't advertized as such. This one does have a connecter or the car if you have a cigarette lighter, but mine doesn't. What really prompted this review was when I started looking for one for the airplane and found I was rejecting all other pillows because they weren't like this one. Still... I will keep my eyes open for a battery operated one for travel. If I were to make one upgrade, I would change the connector to a USB.

So I received this in the mail today. I had purchased it in the hopes of relieving chronic back pain. within 20 minutes I decided that this is one of the best products I have ever had. I realized that I could use it on every single body part. Back upper and lower, neck, shoulder's, arms, legs, hands and feet. I also have chronic calf soreness it took care of this problem immediately. It has heat, massage and one cool feature. It has a flap to cover more sensitive areas. For me it was neck, feet and hands. I just ordered one for my mom and brother. It comes with a 2 yearly warranty which I didn't expect. Very happy with the quality and valuewhen and if this thing dies. I will order another. I usually get a couple massages a month at about $300. I will probably never pay for one again. This is a totally unsolicited review. I Try review almost anything I buy. This has two effects.1. I like to support products that I like because I want to insure it will be available when I need one. And I want to help other people to make reviews of things good things to help each other make better purchasing. $40 is a ton less $300 a month. Craig, PA

After purchasing the first one for my mother for Mother's Day, I bought a second almost immediately after for my sister (who is also a mother, and yes for the same holiday present). My sister has chronic back and neck pain, but this massager puts her muscles at ease. In fact, all three of the women in my family have fallen asleep using this product. It's that relaxing! Definitely worth the money. As for the technicalities, shipping and delivery were on time for both purchases if not early. I ordered the second one four days before Mother's Day and it arrived the second day. The product itself is better quality than the money, in fact. The heating mode takes a minute to be effective, but once it's on, it's burning, baby! Glad I bought this for them. Best present I've ever spent money on!

Been using it for a year. I use it few times a month for period pain. It works well. One side squeaks and I don’t know how to fix it. It’s a pretty loud squeak so I can’t use it at night unless I only use one side of it. (Pressure activates the squeak) if I put more pressure it’s more quiet

So happy to buy this . I got this for my 82 years old father and he said he helps fix his muscles so sun so well. I want to order another one but it is not available hopefully it will available again soon.

I suffer from lower back pain due to three herniated lumbar discs with nerve root impingement, spinal stenosis, and arthritis. I have controlled the pain, until recently with low levels of medication. The past two weeks the pain and stiffness have become almost unbearable. I can’t get in to see my physiatrist until January 15th, so I decided to give a shiatsu massager a try for temporary relief. My first day of using this product saw rather significant relief. The heat element could be a little warmer, but other than that I love it. IF it holds up to multiple daily uses I will consider this a huge win. I will give a follow-up review in a few weeks. My only concern is durability. For the the price, in all honesty, if I get a couple of months or so of the benefits that it has already provided, then I will be a regular buyer.
