I added this foam topper to a guest bedroom mattress after several folks mentioned that the bed was too hard. Guess what? Now I've gotten a complaint that it's too soft! Not to go all "Goldilocks" on you, but my husband and I have both slept on it and we think it's just right. Some folks mentioned a smell from the foam, but if you follow the instructions and let it air out properly, the smell dissipates. I also use a deep-pocket mattress protector, padded mattress topper, and top sheet over it. The deep pockets easily cover both the foam and the mattress under it. ... show more
