I've been trying to replace a personal blender I had decades ago and it's just not happening. All the ones these days make it very hard to make a streamlined smoothie, but I don't always want to pull out the blender. When I do that and since I'm dirtying the blender anyway, I make a double batch which, for my recipe, is 4 smoothies. I was hoping to go back to the days of making a smoothie on the fly as I wanted, but this just won't hold all the ingredients; it took me almost 20 minutes to make a smoothie with 6 ingredients because you have to add things, thin to thick, and scrape down the bottle every time. That's stopping the blender, twisting off the bottle, cranking off the lid (that's tightened down very well for leaks), getting a long spatula, fighting with the small opening of the bottle to get to all the sides, adding the next 1 or 2 ingredients, tighten the lid back down, put it back on the blender, and repeat. It's no fault of the product, it's as advertised and pictured, I just didn't realize how inconvenient (and messy) this would be compared to just using the blender. Very powerful, once it gets going it works really well. I only used it on the first speed and it was loud and powerful, I didn't feel like turning it up was necessary. If I hadn't purchased this through Vine I would return it, but I can't so I'll probably give it to someone, or use it for just protein powders/more liquid-y things.

If you are looking for something simple that will just get the job done, then definitely get this blender. It’s powerful, cheap and worth every penny. Bragged on the the item and convinced my dad to order his. Item looks luxury and I love that it comes with two travel cups.

I really like the vintage look of this blender and I like even more how well it blends - I’ve had personal blenders in the past, but never any this powerful. It makes quick work of blending beverages with lots of ice in them like smoothies (my old personal blender - a very popular one - did not). To be honest, at this point I’m using this great blender to make more yummy milkshakes than healthy smoothies but I can’t blame the blender for that!

My kid loves making smoothies. We've got two regular blenders plus this product. This one is the go-to. Being able to blend directly in the container is super convenient. The only downside is that the container is not dishwasher safe. The workaround is just to put soapy water in and blend then rinse, but honestly, I tend to think of being dishwasher safe as a base expectation.

The Smoothie Bullet Blender with 6 Sharp Blades, Personal Mini Blender for Shakes and Smoothies uses a powerful motor along with the six blades to get the job done quickly. The blender base, plus blade piece, plus the travel cups with lids are well made from mostly plastic parts. The blades are sharp steel. The cups screw into the blade attachment easily and leak free, and that screws into the electric base which uses a standard 110 household outlet. Notice that everything screws into place - it is not just a plastic "indent" to hold things together. There are four settings with three speeds: pulse, off, low, high. The speed setting handle is shaped in a way that arthritis sufferers will have no trouble operating this. Also, all of the parts are medium to small and also would be OK for arthritis sufferers to use without help. When screwing parts together, you can reach a good seal with minimum pressure on the parts. The travel cups have a screw on lid that has an airtight sealed piece you can open and close for taking drinks. the lid also has a carrying handle. The motor is strong as are the blades and it works very well at grinding and pureeing normal food items such as nuts or fruits.

At first i really liked it then as I continued to use it things weren't so good. It doesn't blend totally smooth leaves pretty big pieces and this was soft things to if you don't want big pieces of fruit peel gotta peel it first or you get 1/4 inch bits of peel or fruit it doesn't break down smaller I tried. If your just mixing something it is great just not as a blender.

**Update** Well, I'm back with an update on the longevity of the blender. After two months of using the blender once a week and it functioning quite nicely, the blender stopped turning on altogether. We followed all the steps in Amazon's personal blender troubleshooting guide to no avail. We couldn't find a way to contact the seller to get a replacement or troubleshoot with us. Additionally, the cap on the bottle lid simply cracked off while opening and utilizing it regularly. Sadly I can no longer recommend this blender that started out great! Frankly, I was surprised at the quality of this blender. I've purchased a personal blender before that ended up being more like a whisk. This blender can face anything from bananas to ice and frozen berries. As it comes with two cups, my husband and I can put our desired smoothie blend into our cups, screw on the blender attachment and attach it to the blender. Once done blending, you can remove the blender attachment with the cup connected to it (this prevents any spillage), turn the cup right side up and switch the blender attachment with a convenient travel lid. Repeat for the second cup. I can't speak to the longevity of the item but so far it's been great.
